Yorkie tongue :) Does anybody have a Yorkie that sticks out her tongue? I have a 6 month old Yorkie who just sticks out the very end of her tongue and walks around like that. It's so cute! I didn't know if this was a Yorkie thing. |

Yes, my Snickers sticks his tongue out when he's trying to figure out what you are saying. He'll tilt his head and stick his tongue out. Soo cute. He also sleeps with his tongue out. :) |
Cali does alot of times especially when she's looking for trouble. |

My first yorkie, Bridget did this all the time. She was so cute! I got her when she was 8 weeks old and she did this from the time I picked her out of the litter. Just the tip of her tongue would stick out. My newest baby Abbey, has never stuck out her tongue. Ellie |

My first Yorkie, Sadie, does it alot! I think it is so cute. My new furbaby, Lillie is 13 weeks old, has been doing this since I got her at 8 weeks..sometimes they will be sitting together with both their little tongues sticking out. Of course if I try to get to the camera they follow me and in goes the tongues. This just cracks me up!:mtongue: |
Yorkies & Their TONGUES! Yeah, it's definitely "a Yorkie thing" LOL :p I'm sure that not all of them do it, but ALOT do! Stedman does this all the time and it cracks me up :D I have soooo many tongue pictures of him it's unreal! :eek: |
My Chester did that, but he only had two teeth! I loved it. Do try to get some photos, we'd love to see the little angels. |

Morgan does it too. just the very tip of the tongue. its the cutest thing. i haven't been able to get a picture of it yet tho. |

Aaaaw how Cute! Only 1 does it Artie my male, he even does it when he's Sleeping on his back, spread Eagle, but my female Abigail does not and I wish she would b/c it's so cute. I do think it is hereditary though b/c all my new born puppies (3) do it too!:aimeeyork I think that is a Special Yorkie trait. |

Our first Yorkie, Sky, did this ALL the time and sometimes, it would hang out really far! Now Tiger never does it. I sure do miss it because it's just so cute! |
Buddy doesn't do it except occasionally if he's sleeping really hard - but my Ex and I used to call it "Stinky Kitty Face" - as if they smelled something yukky! :-) |

Yorkie sticking out their All most all of mine do and it is sooooooo cute, I think it is a yorkie thing, as i have never seen a big dog do it. I also have not noticed if all toy dogs do it or not. I just know it is the cutest thing ever!!! I love it when mine do! |
He used to do it more than he does now. He still does it whenever he sleeps for sure. I love it...soooooo cute. :p |

My first yorkie, Brutus, did it whenever someone was oohing and aahing over him. We called it his "cute face". It was uncanny how he knew when to "turn it on" and so adorable. He did it his entire 12 years. Maxwell sticks his out the tiniest bit, but he's still a puppy and thinks the world revolves around him already. |
