What Is the perfect standard??? Pictures
 

Okay with all the post lately I thought I would like to see just what the YT group thinks is the perfect Standard Yorkie is. So.......... Bring on your perfect standard pics. I don't want to read about it I would love to see pictures. I never have seen a Yorkie that I would say is ugly I love em all.Thank you:rolleyes:

Your question is confusing. I think you might mean pictures of a Yorkie that meets as close as possible the breed standard of the Yorkshire Terrier. There is no dog yet that perfectly meets the breed standard for its breed no matter what breed it is you are talking about. Although I have been told that the Bull Terrier that won Westminster this year, by those that were there at the show, judged under BIS judge Jim Reynolds, is about as close as perfect to meet the standard for the Bull Terrier.
But pictures don't tell the whole story, ever. That's why if I am going to want to use a particular male for stud even one that has been campaigned and has placed high in the rankings for Yorkshire Terriers, I still want to see it for myself, moving in the ring OR know someone I trust who has seen it.
As in any purebred breed of dogs, the ones you see in the rings will, from the breeders point of view, meet the breed standard for that breed or at least they will know the faults and good points. Sometimes the judge will agree that it deserves to win, sometimes they don't.
I know what faults my dogs have, what needs improvement, and therefore am looking for certain things in a stud dog to breed to my particular bitch I am interesting in getting a litter from hopefully, to produce some excellent representatives of the Yorkshire Terrier breed.

I don't think I have the perfect yorkie, I really don't think its out there yet...but I have 2 yorkies & morkie that I think are the perfect standard for ME...:D 1st...Lexie
