| ![]() Good Morning To All, It is now official, my little boy is bored out of his mind. The squeaky toys, nylabone are not doing it and the fact that he is teething is not helping. Any suggestions on toys that will distract him. Thank you

| ![]() A bully stick or a flossie should occupy him for a while... Also rawhide shoes? I know some people don't recomend the, but with your supervision he should be fine. Funny but my pup likes the bigger shoe better than those small 'baby' ones.... Go figure.

| ![]() What about those kong toys that you stuff with treats or kibbles? It's supposed to occupy them for hours...

| ![]() Sit down on the floor with him and play fetch with a squeaky ball. Play tug of war. Mine loves it. Some just don't like to play by themselves and some just won't play by themselves. Another suggestion: take him for two or three nice, long walks a day. He'll be too tired to be bored. ![]()

| ![]() Are you sure it's boredom? Maybe he's quit playing because he's teething and it's uncomfortable to chew on things. My Jo chewed vigorously while he was teething but Riley stopped chewing altogether and he did seem to be bored with everything. Riley had to have his baby teeth pulled but Jo didn't. Maybe try one of the chilly bones that you get wet and freeze or a frozen wash cloth...try to get him to play tug of war with you with a rope toy or something soft. |

| ![]() I got Debbie at 10 weeks of age and had her outside on her leash the next day. I guess we were just lucky but she never got sick and after the first day wasn't scared to be outside any more. |

| ![]() Daisy loves to play fetch her ball by the hour lol . We take turns throwing the ball. You would think she would get tired of the game-but she never does. Be careful of rawhide-I have known many dogs that ended up in surgery because of swallowed pieces. Lisa |

I am going to look into the chilly bones, maybe that will help his teeth. Can't wait for this phase to be over ( my fingers will be happy too.)

I really would like another one, but I think I will wait for him to outgrow his puppy phase and see.
