I love them with standing ears or not. My Tyler is a downy, but then again he is not pure, but I love him anyway. The only times his ears are up is when he is laying on his back so I can rub his belly. |
:D I think they are all precious! |
1 Attachment(s) I'm glad I didn't read the "poll" post, because I might have been upset too! I have two boyz, one with "up" ears and one with "down" ears. They are both from the same parents, but different litters. Here's a side by side picture, now YOU tell ME which one is cuter! :D By the way, thanks for starting this thread - sometimes I too, get the feeling that Rexy (with floppy ears) is considered, "less than". I think your babies are ADORABLE!!! :p |

Mazie's ears perked up with absolutely no help, but Kiki's have been reluctant. When one finally did stand, my dad was DISAPPOINTED, b/c he thinks they look so much cuter with floppy ears. Now we're waiting to see what the other one decides to do. :p It's sort of fascinating to watch! One day, for THREE HOURS, both stood up straight as you please.....and then it just gave up the ghost again! :D Your doglettes are adorable! Definitely NOT the droopy, sad kind of ungroomed ears I was talking about! ;) I don't even think I've seen any like that here on YT. But then, let's face it.....we have the CUTEST YORKIES AROUND here! :D |

Your babies are beautiful! I love ALL yorkies no matter their size, shape, ear position or coloring. Their little personalities make up for any trait that doesn't fit into the "breed standard". Lucy had one ear that flopped down when she was a puppy but now she has big erect ears that are covered in fur...because that's the way I like it, and quite frankly, that's the only opinion that matters when it comes to my own puppy! My uncle's gf is a groomer and she is always hounding me about tipping her ears, but she owns a westie and I don't care for the way she grooms it, but that's not my business so I don't say anything to her. When and if I feel like trimming her ears up, I will, and until then it's nobody's business, lol. |
[QUOTE=YORKIE7]Thanks im not really sure about maltese tails, i dont really know much about them, but i have addes a pic for you to see Duchess' beautiful fountain tail, i love it  :)[/QUOTE OMG HOW BEAUTIFUL- that does it Im talked into leaving his tail Long OMG I LOVE THAT LOOK !!!!!!!!!! that is tooo darn cute thanks for sharing her wonderful picture .... |
Grief over your yorkies!! Seems like we all get greif over one thing or another over our yorkies and we are so protective of them. I get grief with Starsky being so big. He weighs around 10 lbs and he also has kind of curly hair. I wouldn't trade him for the world. He has the best personality of any dog I have ever had!!! As with Shylah, she is small but has a longer tail. It wasn't docked short enough I guess. But just the same I love every inch of her tail. I love to watch it spin like a propellar when she is so excited. I don't care what people say about my dogs. Nine times out of ten, they don't even own a yorkie and they are just jealous of them. So as long as you think your little furbabies are special that's all that counts. Who's dog is it anyways? right? |
Your babies are adorable. I personally like them better with floppy ears of coarse I may be bias because Cozy's ears don't stand up and probably never will. |
1 Attachment(s) Yay for floppy ears!!!! I think people spend too much time trying to make their baby's ears stand up. I always wonder what it must feel like to have tape on the ears. |
