| Need Help regarding Hookworms Hello My puppy is 10 weeks old and just diagnosed with Hookworms. The vet said she had them at birth. They gave her medicine right away and I will have to take her back in at 2 weeks for another dose and he said she will be just fine. I am so worried. I noticed she was so thin and I thought that was normal until I saw my bosses yorkies which are her sisters and they are double her weight. Will she gain weight now and catch up or what should I do. The vet seemed to think she will be find but I would like her to gain weight faster, I am worried about her. I Love her and if something happened to her I would just die. My daughter, and granddaughter just moved out and I am having empty next syndrome as it is (crying like a baby) and she is my saving grace. Any help would be appreciated. Laurie

| She will be fine!! My Timmy is skinny and was skinny from the day I brought him home. His brother was twice his size. Now he is 6 months old and weighs 5 lbs. Too me he still looks tiny and thin but thats how he's going to be. He eats alot too. My girl is 5 months old and she is a butter ball Once your baby is done her meds the worms will go away. I know how it is because Mimi had tape worms and oh I almost had a heart attack but the breeder gave me Drontal and she cleared up right away. |
