| adding a 2nd and 3rd yorkie to our home... could you share your experiences and ideas So snickers is 9months old now and we just love her to death... and now we have this opportunity to add (2) 2yr old yorkies to our home - a boy and a girl both raised together, both spayed and neutered and we are so excited... and wanting to hear others experiences or ideas... how has it worked out with other YT"ers adding not 1 but 2 new additions to the household..... |

| Oh you will absolutely LOVE having 2 new additions to your family!!!!! I just added one new addition and it really has been a breeze. It took Hobbs about a week to fully get used to the situation, but now they are inseparable!!!!!!!! When do you get to get them? I can't WAIT to see all kinds of pics! |

| I bet they will all do fine. We added a little female to our house a few months ago and she if fine with the rest. We took two of ours to Tennessee to our friend and they are all fine there too. Yorkies seem to adjust very well. We now have four females and they fuss at each other at times, but genuinely love to be together. Our house sounds like a train in going through it when they all run and play. lol I wouldn't have it any other way. So wonderful that you are taking them.

| OH my existing baby adjusted just fine. Don't be nervous when you first bring them home because there will be an adjustment period. Hobbs took about a week to a week and a half to get fully adjusted. Now they are BFF. I did not buy any additional beds or food dishes. The thing you need to make sure of is that Snickers is not treated any differently. Make sure you give her all the loving FIRST. I did not buy any additional beds or food dishes because then Hobbs would think that the new baby was getting something that he wasn't. I didn't want him to feel that way. So, they share EVERYTHING! The day I got Hootie, I started switching her food over. I just put her food and Hobbs' food mixed in Hobbs' food bowl. They eat the same food now and still out of the same food bowl. I tried to 2 separate bowls for about a day or two. But, Hobbs wanted what HOOTIE was eating. So, there was no point in having 2 bowls from that point on. |
