Linda, I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your little one. We will continue our prayers for little Blitzen ... I know God will look over him!!

I'm sorry one of your babies is gone. :( I'll be praying for all your babies and especially for Blitzen's safe return. Please, God, watch over this little lost baby. He needs you to guide him back to his family. Be safe Blitzen. We love you.:cry8:

If they're in Ohio and got the same storm we did, perhaps he is just hiding. Sissy got really scared from the rain & thunder today and ran out of sight. I thought I lost her but found her hiding in a corner of the yard, not running anywhere & she wouldn't even come to me. Poor little girl was shaking like crazy and panting with her tongue out. She didn't even feel better once in my arms and kept running up around my neck. I had to drag her out so when you are out looking, be careful not to over look him. He may be just as scared as Sissy was and not come out voluntarily:(

I've not been on for a few days and just had to check in to see if anyone's baby was in danger. I'm sorry to find that one is.

My heart goes out to you. May the Lord give you all strength to get through this sad time.

I hope you find him.

More prayers going out to Blitzen.

Oh man, I remember when our little Chelsea took off once before we had fencing. This was back in the mid 90's. She took off. We searched for 5 days. We even had the fire dept and all our neighbor's in on the search. She came "strolling" up on the 5th day, all muddy and caked from who knows what. Don't ever give up hope. He is out there and he has sooo many folks praying for him.

We did get a hard rain late Friday night but turned to a very cold rain all day Saturday, so cold you could see your breath and that continued into Sunday until mid-day. I know he has to be scared or he wouldn't have ran in the first place. My husband thought he might have chased a deer but I believe he would have taken the path of least resistance and ran along the edge of the woods, through 2 fields that both had mowed paths around the edge and then reached a dirt road. The question then becomes which direction would he have gone? Blitzen doesn't like wet grass or getting wet so possibly found a car to hide under and maybe someone saw him and took him home. That is our best hope and that is what we have to believe happened to him. We must and do have faith that he is safe.

DID YOU FIND BLITZEN YET? PHEOBE GOT OUT ONES AND ONLY FOR FEW MINUTES AND IT WAS AWFUL, SO I CAN'T IMAGINE. WILL KEEP PRAYING :rose:

Just lit another candle and had a few going today for Blitzen. Check your flyers you put out, making sure they're still readable, and make sure they're on all the streets that adjoin that field.

Will be checking back again, praying and hoping!

Hello Linda - I'm new to YT and have been following the progress of your Blitzen - I have a feeling that your little Blitzen is safe and sound in someone's home and you just have to make a point of getting the word out that you have a lost dog out there. Make sure you get posters out there to let people know that you are looking for your Blitzen. Don't give up. Keep looking.

I agree Linda! You have to call every vet in your area, take flyers into the vets office, pet stores, animal shelters, grocery stores, EVERYWHERE you can think of! Someone has had to of picked him up! My heart goes out to your family, I know you all have got to be just devastated by this. We all are just hoping for the best and praying that he is returned to you safely!

I was so hoping to hear good news by now...but I too believe he is with someone right now and when that person hears that a little girl is missing her doggy Blitzen will be safely returned!! I found a little chiuahua (sp) last summer...put up posters for him and kept him safe...a few days later his owner put out a plea on the radio and my hubby heard it..turns out she was a little old lady down the road and she drove over here in tears to pick up her baby and started handing me $20's..I was like NO WAY I am just thrilled you have your baby back!! We took care of her for three night and the lady only lived a few blocks away. I dont remember..have you tried the radio station in your area?? Ours will post lost pets if one is called in a few times a day...GOOD LUCK!!

No Blitzen yet but I have faith he's safe and being cared for. Next week is a big apple festival in the town where he was lost. We're going to put up extra flyers all around town.

I am going to pray that who ever has this little baby feels a HUGE RESPONSIBILITY to return him to his owner... Someone might have him and be loving him like crazy...But you should have him back... My prayer are with you and your baby!
