I know it is horrible to be so suspicious, but I too am skeptical. How can they not get animal control to help. They could alert the media. They could get PETA involved. I personally think it is a scam. I dont even believe there are any dogs, they probably stole those picture from another website. Some one should forward that page to the local sheriff and let them check it out. |

From what I understand the animal shelter would be more than willing to turn them over to the rescue group. |

((((((((((VI)))))))))))) that poor dog next to you, I do hope that it got ok, and that it got a loving home. What did they do to the owner???? Hopefully it wasn't just ignored, the owners should be prosecuted for animal cruelity. I also read a post where a dog can't be removed because of filthy conditions and I don't go along with that, I believe any pet that is left in filthy living conditions is ABSOLUTELY CRUEL and it is irresponsable on the animal control or officials to allow it to stay, this is my opinion on that, and I stand firm on my feelings there. I think there is toooo much time spent in our area of coming up with law after law and then not enforcing the ones that are already there to protect animals. Out here in Calif. in the area we are, the new laws, I think it is just a way of getting more money so that the elected officials can give themselves more salary raises and more raises. Sorry but that is exactly how I feel. Patti |
personally i think that it is a scam bc ther has to be a law protecting animals...i never heard of such a thing where animals are not protected by any law especially the extent of the abuse and neglect these animals are going through..personally i would call the cops and the aspca and jsut try send them the pics right away every second counts now |
Go For The Media Its The Only Way And It Will Get So Much Attention And Keep Trying These Poor Babies |
This is more than just filthy conditions, these animals have mange, they are not well. I just don't believe that the authorities would not help. Around here they show up with the media and the police and animal control and even HazMat. Usually the smell alone is enough to get the authorities involved, they don't even need pictures. Did they say how they managed to get in to take the pictures. Those pictures don't look like they were taken through the windows as she claimed they were. |

In the case of the White dog - they estimated him at about a year old and SAID he was adopted out after being treated. I WANT to believe they didn't put him down and spoke to the Animal Control officer Ernie quite a few times about this dog - he promised me he did get adopted - He even wrote me a letter a few months later with Autographed pictures of himself LOL and said he went to a nice home. With the White Dog - The owners were NOT fined because they surrendered the animal. wow - didn't mean to write a book ! |

I'm a Cub Scout Master and I took my scouts to a radio station last week where I met a really nice lady with the Monroe County Animal Shelter doing a promo for a fund raiser. She gave me her card because I said I'd be interested in volunteering on saturdays at the shelter. I'm going to talk to her about it tomorrow and see if she knows anything about this place. The woman that the rescue place is going to buy the yorkies monday because she's scared that they are going to die. This is a very small rural community here and I really don't believe there's much that would be done to rescue these dogs. We only recently got an animal shelter. She says that yes, the woman will probably take the money and breed again. But for right now all she cares about is getting those babies out of that house and to the vet on tuesday. I really honestly don't think it's a scam. |
 Please someone call the news station, here in New Hampsire we just had a case of animal cruelty. One case was puppies/dogs who were kept in cages and covered in their own feces. The other case was last night, 4 horses all skin and bones were removed. In both cases the Media was involved, and yes donations were asked for, but only once the animals were removed. I will do whatever it takes to help. |
