K-9 Advantix...... Sucks
 
It sucks so bad i just cant about believe thats its on the market.. I have done EVERYTHING to the tee that it said and guess what? I found 16:eek: Fleas on her yesterday. Its not even doing any good. there 40.00 down the drain.. Mason isnt so bad but his hair is thinner. It makes me want to go shave Mia bald...:( ANY suggestions?

I'm sorry you're having a hard time with it. it works great on my boys. Um... I don't suggest flea dipping, I've heard some horrid stories. Um......have you tried frontline?

No I wont flea dip.... I am just so darn mad that they say all this stuff and than i STILL find all these fleas. I understand maybe MAYBE finding a couple but friggin 16??????That Sucks!

BLAH! I hear ya! I hate fleas. I use frontline and even with the cats haven't had fleas... oh man... probably the last time I had them (I mean one of the animals:) ) must have been close to 20 years ago. It definately was before my oldest son was born and he's going to be 20 this Christimas Eve. (Knock on wood!)

Try Frontline - and then hoover everything in your house. You need to get rid of the eggs.

I run a daycare so I vaccum EVERY day everything and steam clean the carpet and furniture once a week!! :( Frontline didnt do so hot on Mason but i think it did better than this crap!:mad:

I use K9-advantix on my two girls and i've never seen a flea on either of them. You might need to now put a flea bomb in your house to kill any eggs you might have in there now, especially if you have carpet. Sorry you've had such a problem. But it seems to work great for me.

Maybe mine are just wierd..:( i did a flea bomb AND the carpet dust.....PLUS i steamcleaned everything just tio make sure and I still found them all on them....:(

I use advantage and have never had a flea problem. I got it for $18 for a 4 month supply on Ebay

Frontlin Plus
 
I live just one state above you I was haveing a flea out break and I was told the frontline plus is what is working here. Just don't bath 48 hours before or after. then all should be ok for about 90 days i found one fles from the time i put it on the one that i found was dead:D sorry the 40 bucks was lost . Try the frontline plus it kills fleas, eggs and ticks :D :animal-pa

I have used Frontline Plus for over a yr on Rosi and never ever seen a flea on her and we are outside ALOT !

I was going to also suggest spraying your front/back garden with outdoor flea/tick killer and walking the dogs off property for a few days but I guess this might not be possible if you run a daycare.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I don't know about you, but I don't have money to burn so I'd put those darn fleas in a baggie and take them to wear you bought the K-9 Advantix and tell them you want your money back.

She was using Frontline, guys...I've used K-9 Advantix for a long time with great success.

Yup! That is what my vet said. Too many complaints

LIke I said my dogs must just be to lovebale and comfy that the darn fleas cant stay away! :):D I used Frontline on Mason and it didnt seem to do very good. When I got Mia I switched to the k-9...I think i need to go back to front line
