I think I'm in trouble!
 
OK...I've been trying to help a friend find a yorkie puppy. I told her about the breeders I bought Lucy from. I made a couple of phone calls and looked at their updated website and found a little male that I think I'm in love with!

He was born 4/19/06 and in the picture, he's sitting there pretty as you please SMILING at me! I'm in deep doo-doo. I mean, I'm ready to pull out the plastic and go get him tomorrow! Then I could have Lucy and Ricky!

Somebody talk some sense into me!!!!

Let's face it, who in their right mind could turn away from Lucy and Ricky? I'm assuming you've sucked the numbers right off that credit card by now. We're all awaiting pictures of the lovely couple.:D

I guess they tolerate eachother....lol They play alot and with the playing comes the fighting and thats when I get in between them...lol Just like kids..
Its so much fun having both of them and I wouldn't change anything..I can tell you that they are always together and it is so cute. They eat at the same time they take naps together they bathe together they do everything together. Mine are not fixed because I am still debating whether I want to breed them. I still have 2 months to think about it...if I decide I don't want to breed them I am going to get them fixed. Mimi is 5 months and Timmy is 6 months old.
Since you don't want to breed Lucy get her spayed and get Mr. Ricky fixed as well. Simple solution....lol

At one time my son raised English Springer Spaniels and he knew the people there. There are not many breeders around where I live (at least not that I could find) and I didn't want to buy a puppy and have it shipped. These people are 30 minutes away and I toured the entire facility before I bought Lucy. It was spotlessly clean with a washer/dryer in the nursery and the owner knew all the animals by name and they all obviously loved him.

They don't use cages, they all had doggy doors leading to nice, clean, long, fenced in running areas. They took turns with the dogs taking them into their home (which is less than 25 feet from the facility) and had a separate "playroom" designed for the puppies to play in while you made your purchase. The owner also took the time to give Lucy a bath (showing me how to do it), clean her ears, blow her dry, and gave me a puppy packet with enough food and supplies for a month. I fell in love with the guy and his wife. Kim and Lucy:)

Okay, hate to be the voice of caution and reason here... but here it goes... If you have the room, time, more money for food, vets, toys, doggy care (if you need it) and the patience to bring another baby into the family... then go for it. If you stop at any of these and wonder if you have the resources, I'd say sleep on it at least 3 nights and no peeking at the picture. If you are still set on getting him then... go for it :thumbup:

Lord have mercy! I've got to go to bed because I have to get up at 5:30 in the morning! I'm going to snuggle with Lucy and do the right thing by showing my friend the picture.(I am supposed to be helping her)

But I really do want him. I can afford it, I just don't want to rock Lucy's world!

Holy Moley! Call some of the Breeders on YT! Even if they don't have any puppies available currently...I'm sure they could send you to a reputable breeder who have beautiful, healthy, well socialized puppies available!
