What's Your Yorkie's Funniest Behavior? Ziggy gets mad when I won't let him have any more Bil Jac chicken liver treats aka "puppy crack." To show me he's not happy about it, he'll go and get a baby carrot and get right in my face and crunch it really hard letting bits of carrot fall out of his mouth spilling all over the place. He doesn't eat it at all, just makes a mess. Maybe I should be glad he can't talk.:p |
Hahahahaha that's crazy! I would love to see that. I think for Rocky it would be how he sits on his Barney toys face and has this look like "why isn't Barney doing anything". I don't wanna go into detail, but he always has to show Barney who'se the boss, I'm sure you guys catch my drift here. Also, he started a new thing tonight w/ going down the stairs on the deck. It's been raining all day and this one stair has a puddle on it, and he hesitates each time he has to walk on that step. This is all I can think of right now, but I know theres more! |
:rofl28ib: :rofl28ib: :rofl28ib: :sidesplt: :sidesplt: :rofl28ib: :rofl28ib: :rofl28ib: That's really very funny!!!! I thought I knew what Ginger's funniest behavior is, but after reading your post, :idontknow it just doesn't seem so funny right now... I'll have to think on this. |

LOL,I can just picture Rocky and Barny!:D |
I think its funny when hubby is drinking coffee, tea or whatever and Kizzy comes flying thru the house and and gets to the side of his chair and dont even slow down, she just jumps up on him. and if he dont have anything in his hand i hear him say, ummp when she lands on his stomach like it almost knocked his breath out. But shes made him spill several things and I cant help but laugh. Then I think maggies funniest thing is when Kizzy has something she wants. She will be right in front of her like Kizzy dont see her and she lays down and crawls almost right up to her then like a cat, pounces up on her head or on whatever kizzy has in her mouth and starts a fight. She is so sneaky like that. One reason its so funny is she is so little 1.9 lbs and Kizzy is 8 lbs and the way she acts like Kizzy dont see her sneaking up there and she is crawling up to her right towards her face. |
Oooooo.... I like this thread! Your visuals are great so far! And do Tell Gingersgirlsmom! Spill it! We promise to laugh!:D :D :D Jazzie hates the cardboard core of the paper towel. If I take it and talk to her through it she runs away (in play - not fear) but her rearend is faster than her front. Makes me laugh every time! She looks like a cartoon! Also, she does the sweetest thing where she lays on her back and rubs her eyes with her paws! I love it when she does that! |
When Jerome is chewing a rawhide or playing with a toy he loves doing it upside down with his little legs spread out. He just cracks me up.:D |
you all have comedian dogs lol |
1 Attachment(s) When giving a treat for good behavior I do both. Piper will take off with hers to eat it, Misha following closely leaving hers behind. Misha will then steal Pipers thinking she got away with something. Piper being so smart will go back to where Misha left hers and take it and eat it. When Misha finishes Pipers, she with then go back to get hers to find it's gone. It's funny to watch. |
Okay, my husband has a voice he uses sometimes. For the most part it's "Ginger's daddy's voice", it's subtle, but she can tell when he's talking to her. The funny thing is, he'll use it before he even realizes it, usually if she does something he thinks is cute...You know, so he'll say, "aww" or something like that in his "daddy voice"...or occasionally he'll use the voice and not even be talking about or to her. Well, once she hears that she will stop ANYTHING (even wake up from a dead sleep) and will focus soley on climbing to the top of his head. She's so relentless we just usually end up laughing and she wins. She'll even stalk him from the back of the sofa (highest she can get), wait for him to walk by, and leap! Of course, he's always careful to catch her. She's flown up over the back of his office chair before (that was a surprise) climbed me on her way to him, nothing gets in her way. Anyway, eventually (tail waggling the whole time) she makes it to the top of his head (I can't explain it) and kisses his face from above! He is the only person she does this to, I've tried to get pictures, but they're always blurry. I'll keep trying. |
When Rosie gets wet, or I put her hair up, or even when they put a bandana on her when she got groomed, she runs around the whole place and rubs her face on something rough. She first tries the carpet. When she realized that's not rough enough, she tries my rug, then goes on my couch. It is so funny when she does this. I wish I had this on video. |
When Reuger wants to go outside he goes to the front door and sniffs really loud. If we don't hear it he'll lay down with his nose on the bottom of the door and sniff really loud again and just lay there waiting. It's so funny!! If we hear him sniffing we know that he wants outside! |
It has to be sneaking up on my cat and nipping at his tail. The cat turns, hisses, then runs upstairs. Gracie just dances as if to say, na, na, na, na, na-Gotch Ya! |
Maddie will come up to you and bark then lay down with her feet straigh back and just look up at you and continue to bark until you walk over, get her huge toy backet, sit on the floor and throw each one to her to fetch. Its so cute. If you act like you are done... she will walk over peak in the basket to see if they are all gone...if not its back to the bark...its so dang cute. She will do until the entire basket of toys have been thrown for her to fetch. Now if only I can teach her how to put them all back LOL :p |
When we lived in Utah we had a fenced in backyard. Well, we had a red heeler that stayed outside and one night she started barking really loud and mean. Bentley was only about a year old then and when he heard the barking he HAD to start barking too and he ran out with my husband to investigate. We turned the patio light on and my husband and Bentley went out into the yard to see what was going on. When my husband couldn't find anything he walked back to the house and apparently Bentley didn't know he had left his side. When he realized he was alone he started yelping like he was hurt!! Well, I thought he had gotten hurt and I ran out and said "what's wrong with Bentley"?! My husband started laughing and said "He realized I wasn't with him anymore and he got scared"! Bentley doesn't like to share. If my yellow lab has a toy Bentley has to have it. Even if it's something Bentley wouldn't otherwise play with. If Duke has it, Bentley wants it. And so he'll get the toy away from Duke and guard it with his life. If Duke comes anywhere near it Bentley will run up to Duke and bark at him and then run back to the toy. |
The funniest thing Sir Pepper does is...sometimes he forgets what he is doing and will Poop (I know EWWWW) with one leg still in the air from peeing!:lol tears He looks like a yorkie Pez despenser! He also did it once while standing straight up on his hind legs! I could barely stand up I was laughing so hard! |
Lol, these are all so cute.:lol tears Yorkies have the funniest little habits...they really need their own TV show.:p Gingergirlsmom, hope you can get a pic of Ginger sitting on her daddy's head...so funny.:D |
When Joey gets excited he turns circles all the time. It's so funny because now his daughter, Izzie, does the same thing, but does it in the opposite directions. :D |
1 Attachment(s) Georgies funniest behavior is annoying his sister Coco (See attached pic he is licking his chops getting ready to attack). He will run up to her nip at her (doesn't hurt her of course) and then she jumps up and chases him around the house. One other thing that is funny is he has a plastic ball (similar to the ones at Chuck E Cheese) and he goes absolutely insane when we get this ball out. He attacks it and makes whining noises because he can't get it in his mouth. He gets so tired over this ball that he has to stop and get some water and then he is right back at it. If we put the ball somewhere and he can still see it he will sit and whine until we let him play with it. |
When Taffy & Baby wants a treat Baby (bassett )will take what ever I give her. Taffy get picky I will hand her one liver treat she sniffs it then noses it away, next we try the chicken one she sniffs nope not that one she pushes it away whith her nose. It is so cute until she finds the one she wants she just pushes it away. The winner gets taken real fast and she and the treat are gone. Whooooos away. Some time when we are playing with Baby (Taffy is jealous) Taffy will put her front paws on Babys backside and just bark and bark Baby ingores her. IT is so funny it loooks like they are playing king on the mountain except Baby is the Mountain:) |
Whenever anyone picks Bella up she will stick her tongue out at you, look you up and down, then then put it back in!! goofy girl!!:tongue3: |
I was trying to think of the funniest thing mine do and the only thing I can come with is Autumn and Gizmo both bark hysterically at the tv if they hear any dogs barking or see a dog on it. The other thing is Autumn may be small, but she thinks she is HUGE! Our friends came to visit and brought their lab mix and Autumn went nuts running after him and barking like mad! Poor Magnum was soo scared he peed and jumped back in their car and wouldn't come out at all even after I had put Autumn back in the house! (It didn't help that she climbed up to the window and continued barking her warning!) |
devoted to Lucy! These are all so good! :) My computer desk is behind my sofa. When I'm on the computer, Lucy stalks up and down the back of the sofa, barking like crazy until I turn around and play with her. I get five minutes on the net for every 10 minutes of play! Also, if you're in the hallway and throw both hands up in the air and hiss, she will run down the hall, climb the sofa, jump off and hit every other piece of furniture in the room before running to the kitchen and peeking around the corner until she sees you coming. Then she jumps out at you and does everything in reverse until she ends up back in the hallway. Kim & Lucy:aimeeyork |

She really does. The first time she did it I thought I had really scared her, but when I followed her to the kitchen and saw her peeping out, she was smiling like a maniac and the hair on her head looked like it had been combed with a weedeater! She loves it! I've tried to take a video, but she was just too fast! thanks Kim and Lucy :aimeeyork |
Tony and his daddy My boyfriend and I just got back from a roadtrip to FL (we live in IL, so it was quite a long trip) anyways we brought my 4 mo old yorkie Tony. Tony isn't your average pup, it is freeking hoodini. well at one of the hotels we stayed at, we had pizza and dunkin doughnuts the night before and some chips or something and most of it ended up in the garbage. we went to the beach for a couple of hours and well Hoodini got out of his crate and by the time we got back there was wrappers all over the hotel. I couldn't even tell where it all originated from. he was just sitting in the middle of the room head cocked to the side smiling. i thought my bf was gonna freak, but instead his let out a grunt and said "i know i should be mad, but think about how much fun he just had" it was true... I <3 my little guy :aimeeyork |
Reggie is terrified of ballons and exercise balls! He even sees the things deflated he hightails it for cover! |
And I thought Sweetie was just "Kooky"! When she wants you to play she will make this low growl and starts scuffing her paws back and twisting her behind - we call it the "Sweetie Shuffle". She INSISTS you play with her - she'll get a toy in her mouth and growl and/or bark - with the toy in her mouth!! When she wants put up on the bed (I know she could jump up there but she refuses!!) she makes a "grunting" kind of sound - same for when she wants to go outside - she just stands at the door. They are all such wonderful, precious little creatures!!:aimeeyork I wish I had a dozen!!Cyndi & Sweetie:animal-pa |
Stedman and his Quackers Stedman's has to be when he plays with that darn duck of his, Quackers. First of all, he carries this dang duck with him everywhere ok...and I do mean EVERYWHERE lol. He even takes it night night with him when we put him in bed with us, but he ALWAYS chews/squeaks on this thing RIGHT on the edge of the bed (or wherever he is laying) and it ALWAYS falls on the floor. I have moved him back further on the bed, couch, whatever...to show him that if he moves back more instead of being RIGHT on the edge, it won't fall off, but it never fails. He ALWAYS moves right to the edge and PLOP - there goes Quackers. Well, at night, when he's in the bed with us and does this...after he drops it on the floor, he will peer down at it from up on the bed while he is still laying down, it is SO cute. Then, he will bark at it a couple times (like he's telling it to come back) and turn his head sideways when Quackers "doesn't respond to him", then jump down, pick it up with his mouth and stand on my side of the bed waiting for me to pick him up and put him back on the bed. And if I ignore him, he will start BARKING at me like crazy...he gets so mad, it is HILARIOUS lol. He will sometimes just sit there staring at me with Quackers in his mouth while I'm laying in bed and he is down on the floor on the side of the bed. He will do this about 20 times in one night. No joke. It is very cute, but it does get old when he does it a gazillion times in a row and all you are trying to do is SLEEP! lol. I gotta get this on video one day...it is just too funny, and way funnier when you actually see it lol :p |
Oliva is a riot so there is so much to chose from... She throws hissy-fits all the time. If I have a one of her toys and put it up so she can't get it or don't pay attention to her she barks and kicks her legs all over the place- it's too funny! She also makes the funniest noises when we get home, get up in the morning or when she's excited. It almost sounds like a ghost haunting the house "woooooooo." It's so hard to explain the noise, but she does it all the time- we love it! She also has to sleep between my bf and I at night. She climbs up on one of us if we were too close and she can't get in the middle. When she was younger, she used to give a little high-pitched wine like she was asking to get in between. Now, I wake up to her face 2 inches from mine with a "ferocious" growl like she's yelling at me to move over! She's such a snot! |
