Introducing.......(drum roll please)
 

Hey all...

Well here he is... little Nori has finally made it to his new home. My daughter and I picked him up in Maryland from Kelly and her family. It was with mixed emotions that we did this. We were obviously very excited but it was so sad to see such a nice family part with a little dog they obviously loved very much.

Roxy and Ruby came with us to Maryland to meet their new brother - the meeting went great. In fact, I was sure Roxy would have been a little timid but she was so laid back and when her new brother was buckled into the car seat beside her - it was if we'd been doing this for months! I have a couple of Lookout carseats, including the SUV console one and he sat there between my daughter and I enjoying the view.

My daughter bonded right away and he with her. In fact - so much so that he already follows her around and cries when she leaves the room. So... it looks like he's picked her as his special human. Jenna has decided to call him Charlie because she says he is ever so bonnie and is naming him after Bonnie Prince Charlie (her Scottish roots are showing!)

Everyone gets along great and so far - no disruption to the pack. It's like he was always with us. Charlie has eaten, relieved himself and walked beautifully for us so far!

That is so cool that he has already bonded with your daughter! I'm so happy for that little guy. I love the name Charlie, too.:)

Yaaaaay!!!!! I've been watching this little guy from day one, and am so happy that he got such a wonderful new family. He looks beautiful and very happy in the pics. I'm sure this was difficult for kellyandjohn, and my heart goes out to them, but I'm thrilled to see it is all working out!

He's got such a following here, I hope you plan on keeping us updated!

AW, a new happy ending for Charlie! I feel sorry for Kelly, who has been through so much, but I'm sure she is SO HAPPY that he will be with you! He and your daughter look perfect together, already!

i miss him but these pics let me know i did right by him. i no longer have a yorkie but can promise i will always be on here and i would love to see all the updates and pics

Thanks everyone for all the kind words and a big THANK YOU to Kelly and John for honoring my family with trusting us to give Charlie a forever home. He is a doll and yes, my daughter has been swept off her feet by him. She is pretty amazing herself and has been around dogs all her life (predominately LARGE ones) and is very comfortable with them (Cesar would be proud of the confidence she oozes!) Honestly I'm not surprized that he feels so comfortable with her but I know I'm in for a little trouble with my two younger boys when they return from camp on Saturday as they will be SOOO JEALOUS!

So since Charlie has a fan club...we can't disappoint...stay tuned to the My Yorkie Forum for a thread on Charlie's progress!
