| Know it all lady in store I took Shylah and Starsky to a neat store where they sell cute doggie stuff and a couple of women told me how cute my babies were. Another women who said she had had yorkies before said you gotta watch out for the little ones (like Shylah) because when they are 5 to 6 months old they have bad digestive problems. Some even have trouble digesting their water? Have you ever heard such a thing? Otherwise she said yorkies are great dogs to have. She currently had two mini snausers (sp). She kind of pissed me off when she said that. I think it depends on the indivdual dog.

| I have never had a tiny Yorkie (Mojo is my first Yorkie), but I would think it has to do with each individual dog. Maybe she had one that was just sickly or something. Who knows! I wouldn't let it get to you though....there are always "those" people everywhere we turn it seems!

| I work with a guy w/a tiny & she had to have digestive surgery & has to eat special food. But I'm sure that it's an individual dog thing.

| That's a very strange generalization to make... and to say that it happens around 5 or 6 months? Digestive problems can happen to any breed, any size, at any age.

| That sounds like a genetic problem, maybe she got her dog from a bad breeder or a petshop! I agree with Oscar's Mummy. |

Ya? Maybe some do. but some dogs have problems in every breed. That doesn't mean they all do. | |
