| Help.. I'm scared :( Hi YorkieTalk... I have not posted in a while but tonight I am extremly scared. I came home from work tonight and my baby was fine... started to play, threw the ball a few times then all of a sudden he wanted nothing to do with the ball. He came up on the couch with me. Heard his daddys car so he ran to the screen door excited but then ran back up on the couch and sat behind my head shakey. We put him on the floor and he would walk around just looking all sketched out. Then he went into the corner between my 2 couches and just sat there. I put a pillow and he still sat on the floor. (About half an hour or so) We took him out of the corner and he was still acting the same. Still trembling and now he has been in my closet for about 35 minutes. He wont come out .. wont come take a treat.. wont drink water.. Please anyone that might have expierenced this help! |

| Maybe he's just really scared? I don't know. I'm sorry. Hopefully he recovers soon.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Do you think he bumped his head maybe ? Sometimes they run into things and even if he may not be hurt - he could have scared himself - Also how big/old is he ? Do you have Nutrical in the house just in case he does have low sugar ? |

| If it were me, I would not isolate him by putting him in a crate. I would sit in a chair, get myself relaxed and let him chill with me all night long, until the vet opened in the morning, and then I'd be on the phone. It could be that he has eaten/swallowed something that he shouldn't and is in pain. |

| I put him in his crate. I am going to let him out in like a half hour and see how he is. I managed to get a few drops of water in his mouth but he didnt want it. Thanks for being here |

| Kayro syrup, any kind of syrup. If you don't have syrup, put about 1/4 cup of water in a pot, bring it to a boil and add about a cup of sugar. Let it melt and cool and rub his gums. |

I was with him from the second this happened and I am total neurotic so there is no chance anything went in his mouth without me seeing it. I tried sitting with him and he climbs up my shoulder and wants to stay behind my head on my neck. I feel lik I would rather him chill in the crate then me having to hold him on my lap with force.. is this wrong? Oh and you better believe I will call the VET asap.. they know me very well | |
