| I know there are pesticides that will get rid of sluggs. Maybe you should spray and try to rid your hard of them. Then she can't eat them. Have you tried mixing hard food with soft canned food to get her to eat? |

I would suggest to keep a close eye on her or even muzzle her in some way so she can't eat them anymore. Yorkies can die of slugs! | |

| I've heard that if you put beer in a shallow lid and put it where the slugs are that it will get rid of them. It would be worth a try. Just make sure that you're pup doesn't get in it.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | i used the beer method last summer and it worked, every morning I would go and empty lots of dead slugs and pour in more beer. Gross but it helped. Cali only eats fresh chicken so know your frustration.

| Your dog will eat what you give it. I put dog food down for 10 minutes at a time two times day to train my dog to eat and if my dog didn't eat it I would pick it up. After two days of this the problem of her not eating went away forever. I don't think it's even recommended that you give your dog only chicken. Put down the dog food and if she doesn't eat it she goes hungry that night. It won't harm her and trust me, she will eat when she realizes that if she doesn't she will be hungry.

| Take the advice about not using a pesticide and using the beer instead. Also salt will kill them. Slugs can cause lungworms in a dog. Feeding chicken alone cannot possibly fulfill the nutritional requirements of a dog. If you want your dog to live a long, healthy life then find a quality dog food that they will eat, even canned would be better than giving chicken alone. How funny, one drunken slug party! If I wasn't convinced that drinking was dangerous, I am now | |

| it does really work and so does salt, pour salt on them and they shrivel up and die, it dehydrates them
