I am getting James shipped from texas and I live in California,he is coming next week. I will let you know how it goes. |
I had both my girls shipped from the breeder. ALL WENT WELL! I got them at 11 weeks. I will say though........I DID research the breederfirst to make sure everyting was legit. I was SO WORRIED about being scammed ... but found a great breeder who kept me updated from 1 day old until they were put on the plane. |

Just be careful and watch for scammers. Especially beware of those who say they are moving overseas or that they're missionaries in Africa, Nigeria, Columbia, and various other countries. Good luck! |
Personally, I would never get a puppy without first seeing him and his littermates. :D |
Be Careful!!!!! Whatever you do, I DO NOT recommend you trying to buy through the Yahoo! Pets Classifieds. I have reported SEVERAL people through there for scamming. They list ADORABLE Yorkies (most "claiming" to be "Teacups") for "FREE" while all they ask you to pay is the shipping (anywhere from $300-$500 or more), when in all actuality, they have NO pup to begin with. :thumbdown Several friends and family members that have fallen in love with my little Yorkie were looking online for pups (even though I DID NOT buy mine online) and I had a couple of them e-mail me links to these so called "free" pups. However, when I went to look at their ad's, I noticed that whoever was listing the pup for sale couldn't even speak english correctly. I had also noticed that they had stolen pictures of puppies off other (known) Yorkie web sites. What a STUPID move  They also had SEVERAL (and by several I mean like MORE THAN 30!!!) other popular dog breeds (Yorkies, Maltese, Shih Tzu, English Bulldogs, etc.) listed for free with only you paying the shipping, or either the dog costing anywhere from $500-$600 and free shipping. What a CROCK! I reported them IMMEDIATELY. :thumbdown BE CAREFUL!!! P.S.- BEWARE of yorkiepup.com (a very popular breeder's website that sells Yorkies). When I FIRST started looking for a pup, I browsed Jeff's (the breeders) web site SEVERAL times a day...that is until I heard terrible things about him. Just please, whatever you do...BE CAREFUL!!! |

THANKS. (www.nextdaypets.com?) Quote:
www.nextdaypets.com Anything about that? |
Yahoo is definitely a bad place to look. Also, I looked at Ohio.com and found LOTS of scammers there also.:( |
I\'ve seen a few scammers in nextdaypets too, so be really careful. Google "yorkie puppy scam" or "Africa puppy scam" and you\'ll be amazed at what comes up. |
