| Afraid of certain dogs Yesterday we took Rocky to a birthday party, and there were 2 bulldogs there. One was 3months old and about 20lbs, the other was 7months old and about 70lbs! These dogs are bigger then Rocky, but he's always been around bigger dogs and hasn't really had any problems so far. For some reason though yesterday, he was really afraid of these dogs, and there was no reason for him to be. I don't know if it was because there was 2 strange dogs that he never met before. They were trying to meet him and he kept running behind my legs hiding from them. I felt soo bad, I was hoping he would get along w/ our friends puppies, but he's scared of them! |

| Awww thats so sad. I had an english bulldog about 6 months ago and my Louie just loved him. He weighed about 75 lbs and louie didnt care. Bulldogs are such great family pets and most of em are not aggressive. If you can get past the laziness of em, they dont seem to cause any harm. I seriously doubt they would have hurt your baby, but there is something that is making Rocky uncomfortable. hmmmm, and you know how yorkies can be fiesty. They forget how small they are. I'd try introducing Rocky more with these 2 dogs. Hopefully he will get used to them and not be timid around em anymore. Keep me updated on this. I'd like to see how it turns out. Good luck to ya.

| It might have been where the bulldogs are eye level to him and other big dogs stand taller...What I am trying to say is if you were looking at some that big at almost eye level I think it would scare more than looking up at something bigger cause you feel you could get away better or go between there legs to get away...

I'm sure he's going to be seeing more of the 3month old as for it's my boyfriends best friends. I don't think they would hurt him either...I was more worried about Rocky and Gizmo (boxer) then these 2...and him and Gizmo have always gotten along great...check out my video on here of him chasing gizmo! Gizmo is definitly a lot scarier then these dogs!! Next time Rocky is w/ Brutus (the 3month old bulldog) I'll definitly post how it goes. | |

| Maybe it's because there were so many of them..... He may have done better being around only one at a time -- at first... Carol Jean |
