I really hope that was not directed at me! I offered 400.00 becuase it will be quite a bit to drive 5 hrs to get him and back. I almost wish I would have never even posted!

I think you misunderstood her post. I think she meant that just because someone is willing to pay A LOT for a dog doesn't automatically make them a good dog owner and I agree with that. If I were a breeder and someone offered me $2,000 for my pup and then someone else offered me only $500 for my pup, I would evaluate both families to see which is better suited for my pup. Maybe the family offering the $2,000 has little kids who are rough or maybe they don't believe is spaying and neutering their pets. Those would be 2 big no no's for me.

I was hoping that was right! I wasnt trying to pick a fight I just read her post wrong...or thought I did. I understand perfectly about the money thing and all that stuff but if your in a need ot get rid of your dog I feel ppl put way to mych empahasis on money! Thats JMHOP!

No I meant, why do they care about losing $100,as long as the dog is going to a good home. I also meant that rich people arent always the best pet owners, less well off people value things and appreciate things more.

There is no way they would have the dog put down rather than take $100 less, they're feeding you a sob story to get you to pay what they want. You said you can't afford the $100 more so honestly, you probably don't need another dog. It was a nice thought on your end though. They really don't sound like very caring people. It's not a used car, there shouldn't be "bargaining" on the cost of it. They obviously want the money but $500 doesn't sound unreasonable for a yorkie.

Also when my sister sold her bully she had the prospective buyers e-mail her pictures of their home, their yard and made sure they knew the aspects of owning this type of dog. She wanted him to have a good home and wanted the money.

If you're looking for another pet that's less expensive you can try the animal shelter or the yorkie rescue, it sounds like you'd like to offer a pet a nice home.

Well i am sorry but not really willing to take the chance. You dont know everybody! It is not unreasonable for a yorkie but 400.00 is all I have right now..they need to get rid of it RIGHT now. Tried all the shelters and even had a couple scams yesterday so i have looked so please dont sit and judge and inform me I cant afford another dog. You dont know me or what I have! Thanks

Girl, you are in defense mode, well I gues you have to be when you post on YT. Anyhow, I feel ya on these prices my mom had a dog and she was no longer able to take care of him (he was a dachshund) and she just gave him to this guy that came to see him because he seemed real nice and my mom liked his attitude. Too bad the dog you want is so far away, because when you meet someone in person everything is different.

I get defensice when ppl jusde me on whether i need another dog or can afford one. They dont know me!!

I don't know how reputable it is but it's worth a try ... no harm in asking. But if I ever did buy from Puppy Find, I would sure as hell pay via PUPPY ESCROW!! That way they don't actually get the money until you get the dog! And if you don't get the dog, you just cancel it and all the money goes back to you. But I know what you mean ... it's so hard to buy a dog over the internet ... it can be really risky.
