2 Attachment(s) We now have Mitzi. She's 9 y.o. and still young at heart. Before I met her and my husband I had Inka a Leonberger. She was such a gentle giant and she moved with me from Germany to the Capverdian Islands (West Africa) where she died at 14 y.o. and is burried on a hill above the ocean she loved soooo much close to a village called San Francisco. :aimeeyork |

What a sweet thread! I've never lost a pet so I can't share but I think it's a nice idea to have a place to post those pics to share with everyone. |
3 Attachment(s) I got my first Yorkie, Karma in 1970 and left him with my parents when I moved out as they were so attached and I couldn't have pets at the apt. He passed away at 13 in 1983.Then I moved to a place where I could have pets and got Zorro in 1979 he passed away in 1991 and then I got Gracie (pictured) in 1991 and she passed at 6 1/2 from complicatioms of a collapsed trachea. Then I got a pom in 1997Pictured) then I decided I couldn't live with out a yorkie so I got Cali in 2005. (pictured) I a definately a Yorkie person!!! They were/are all special in theie own ways. |
3 Attachment(s) Jazzie is my first Yorkie she turned 8 years old this past January. Jazzie is 10 pounds of pure sweet love & delight! (first photo) Jewel left us and went to Heaven this past May. Today is her 2 month anniversary. She just had her 3rd birthday before she left us. She suffered from Necrotizine Enchephelitis for a year. We miss her dearly. Jewel was 3-1/2 pounds of 100% love and courage. (2nd & 3rd photo) Thank you for starting a beautiful Thread to pay tribute to our furry sons & daughters. |

I will never forget you Kramer!!!! 2 Attachment(s) Kramer was my first yorkie and I just lost him in January of this year. He was 8 1/2 yrs old and was attacked by a black lab while I was walking him and had to be pts. I still miss him terribly and cry everytime I think about him. He was so loyal and sweet. He weighed 9 lbs. Dylan is my new yorkie and is now 6 mo. old and weighs 4 lbs. I need to get a new picture of him as his hair is finally growing a little bit. I believe he is what is called a red legged yorkie. He is as onery as ever and definitely not a snuggler and lover. I hope he gets a little more cuddly as he matures. If he was a kid he would be labeled as ADHD. He provides hours of entertainment though. |

Thank you Sashajade. It was so hard. It wasn't a hard decision though as he was in so much pain and had already been given morphine and was left completely paralyzed. The vet said they would not be able to save him and I did not want to prolong his pain. Stupid black lab and his owner. |
My Babies 4 Attachment(s) The 1st 2 pictures are of my beloved Kloey who will always have a special place in my heart, she will never be forgotten and I miss her dearly. She was just 1 yr old when she left this world, she was hit by a car. Lillie is 4 months old and weighs not quite 2 pounds, she is so much fun, I enjoy having her so much, she has helped so much with my healing and she makes me smile. I look forward to having many many fun memories with her. I know Kloey would just have loved Lillie, I was so much hoping to get Kloey a playmate, she was always so full of energy and loved to play. Hopefully some day I will be able to get Lillie a new friend! |
Great pictures everyone!!! |

3 Attachment(s) sasha one year today since you died and ive put a post up in IN MEMORY to morn your death but i started this post so i could celerbrate your life, well were do i start you were not like other dogs you seemed like a little person trapped in a dogs body you were so funny, you always made me laugh the way you use to sulk with your head hanging down if you had been told off and the way you use to keep looking up to make sure i had seen you and then of couse i would call you over and give you a cuddle, the little dance you use to do, the way your tongue use to hang out the side of your mouth and how for some reason you use to get things stuck to your nose like fluff and you would just walk about with it hanging off your nose, or the time you were laying on the floor on a sheet of a4 paper and when you got up it was stuck to your tongue and you just left it there and stared at me falling about with laughter wondering what i was laughing at, those memorys of you i will always have so today instead of being sad and morning your death i wont i will smile and remember your life and thankyou for 12 years of love and laughter and for giving me tye and zac so i still have a little bit of you with me , thankyou baby girl love you always x x x |
