Arizona Trucker Called Max UGLY!
 

My mom was on her way down to Arizona and stopped at a gas station and a trucker yelled out to my cousin that's one ugly :eek: f*****g:eek: dog and my cousin said what and the man repeated himself and said it again so my cousin just didn't do anything about it!! Then the guy proceeded to come up to my mother's car and repeat himself to my mom!:eek: Then the man said that is one ugly yorkie the man proceeded to tell my mom that he bought a TOY yorkie for one thousand dollars and that people have offered him three thousand dollars for this dog! And so my mom told him that there is no such thing as a TOY yorkie that there is one kind of yorkie and only one and that's a yorkie the man just kept saying yeah hugh and then finally my mom told the man that she and I have been studying this breed for years and that they say that the dog is a toy because they just want to jack the prices up because the dog either has a disease someone in it's bloodline has a disease or the dog is less immune to the disease! I might be the only one to say this but I think that yorkie's should belong to certain people who know or want to know more about the breed and how to better their dog and I don't think that this man was one of those special people!:D I think that everyone on here is special because they found yorkietalk so that they could learn more about their dog and the Yorkshire Terrier breed and I want to thank everyone for being so kind to do that!

What a jerk. I agree that people should do research before buying any dog. Unfortunately, that always doesn't happen. I, too, am SO happy I found YorkieTalk! I cannot even begin to explain how much I have learned from this site. I also want to thank everyone that is here for making this site what it is! There are so many knowledgeable people, and I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge! :thumbup:

I wouldnt be happy either, that man was down right rude:eek: that being said, let me clarify "Toy is right - Tcup is wrong" the yorkshire terrier is part of the toy group; (tcup is what doesnt exist)

Thanks I know he misses you too I talked to my mom and they are about an hour and a half from our new house!!
What he was saying was that his dog was a toy because it was only 2lbs! I know that they are in the toy group he was classifying his dog like that because of the weight!!!

Yes anyone who is going to get a dog, (doesn't matter what breed it is) should do research before getting one. I get that all the time. I had one lady come up to me to tell me that she has a micro yorkie and a standard one. I just looked at her looking kinda puzzled because I have never heard of the term micro. She went on and on educating me on the breed. She said that there was the stentered yorkie then the teacup and the micro. I didn't say a word. There was no use to argue with her. She seemed to know it all. LOL!!!!!!!!!!

I once went through a McDonald's drive through, the girl working the window told me that my dog was so ugly, it's cute. I just gave her one of those fake laughs. My daughter was so offended and could not believe I kept my mouth shut and didn't tell her off. I told Val that all people are different and just because we think Gus is cute others may not. She just didn't care. She just thought it was very rude of the girl do say something like that. Up to this day she refuses to back to that darn McDonald's.

What a horrid man. Sounds to me like he's walking around with a chip on his shoulder and gets his jollies out of trying to ruin someone's day! I wouldn't have given that buttface the time of day...I would have driven off and left him standing there! Some people really suck and he's definitely one of them!

I probably would of said, well how did you ever get off your leash, I bet your owner let you off on purpose hoping you would leave your such an ugly dog. But just so you know, mine isnt into breeding with you. he's too pretty for you.

Now that sounds exactly like something I would say - and that crossed my mind when I read the post. Stupid, stupid, VERY un-informed man!!!

The smartest thing to have done was to drive away as fast as you can...that Trucker was obviously jacked up on amphetemines.....creepy....
