*hugs* i am sorry you had to go through that...no one deserves to be told thier baby is ugly...and IMO no yorkie is ugly...my hubby is a truck driver and i will agree there are alot of a$$ hole drivers that is sad to say but it is the sad truth...there are alot of them that wont even let a fellow driver over when traffic is bad....its not like it use to be for truck drivers so i am sorry that happen to you and i will appologize (sp) for the truck driving world *hugs* to you and your yorkie

If someone acted that way to me. I would just walk away. I wouldn't talk to them about "toy" or "teacup" Yorkies.

A person like this man has some sort of a chip on his shoulder and likes to upset and argue with people. I would think that the thing that would get to him the most would be when people just walk away and don't give him the time of day. I would let him know that whatever he said wasn't even worth responding to.

Yes anyone who is going to get a dog, (doesn't matter what breed it is) should do research before getting one. I get that all the time. I had one lady come up to me to tell me that she has a micro yorkie and a standard one. I just looked at her looking kinda puzzled because I have never heard of the term micro. She went on and on educating me on the breed. She said that there was the stentered yorkie then the teacup and the micro. I didn't say a word. There was no use to argue with her. She seemed to know it all. LOL!!!!!!!!!!

I once went through a McDonald's drive through, the girl working the window told me that my dog was so ugly, it's cute. I just gave her one of those fake laughs. My daughter was so offended and could not believe I kept my mouth shut and didn't tell her off. I told Val that all people are different and just because we think Gus is cute others may not. She just didn't care. She just thought it was very rude of the girl do say something like that. Up to this day she refuses to back to that darn McDonald's.

My mother would have been crushed if someone had talked to her that way. She has never been talked to that way and would not tolerate that 'word'.

If that jerk said that to me I would have said " You know.. your so ugly that when you were a kid they had to tie a porkchop around your neck so the dogs would play with you! Jerks like that should stay under the rock he came from! I was married to a Trucker for 22 years.. You notices I said "WAS" after all the beatings an name calling .. I finally got smart and left. NOT THAT ALL TRUCKERS ARE LIKE THAT! I know alot of very nice truckers! If not for truckers.. we wouldn't get our food.. dog food.. etc.. hehe.. But I know there are some rude ones out there.. Just ignore them and go on with your life. Your Max is a beautiful little angel. I have a Max and Mine is too!

You're better than me!!! I would've asked for the manager & told him/her how rude their employee is and that NO employee should EVER make a comment like that. It's just plain rude. Even though they're "just" talking about a dog, a lot of people (most of us included) treat our dogs like our kids & that's like saying, "Hey, your kid is ugly." You just don't do it.

gives new light to the phrase trashy trucker they just spend so much time on teh road they don't know how to interact with others?! how rude i think he deserves a punch in the nose.
