I have seen it time and time again. The tinier the more expensive the yorkie, but I have never seen the price that high. |
thats right the smaller they are the more they think they can charge! This is ridiculous i'm sorry i love these yorkies but all the same it is a pet and i would never pay that much for a pet good grief! also i like how chip is 3.3 lbs at 6 months but he will only be 3 lbs when he's an adult :lol tears :lol tears this is a sad example of why some people are only into breeding for the money!:mad: |

For me, seeing anything about shipping is a red flag. When I see "sorry we don't ship our babies" I feel like this is a breeder that cares more about their animals. If this puppy is worth 10 thousand dollars, why would anyone risk having it shipped? ...and not for nothing, but who would spend 10 grand on a puppy without seeing it in person? :confused: |

This site always gives me mixed feelings. They always advertise champion sired pups. Which breeder would allow their stud to be used for these pups to be sold consistently on this site. The first female ($5000) is beautiful, she defenitely came fron a show kennel but she has an arched back and for that price one can acquire a finished champ. So yeah these pups are a bit pricey. The others on their have roached backs and have what looks to me as a wirey coat. With that being said I should be quite as I know some here have acquired their pups from this site.:rolleyes: |
Wow! Seriously, wow! I'm geussing that if someone was paying 10 grand for a puppy they would fly in to pick the puppy up themselves which is why it says free shipping. It's probably a puppy that she wants to keep but would be willing to part with her for $10,000. |
wow, do people really pay this much money?? Why would you charge this much, unless you were just in it for the money. I could see a champion being this price but not these pups. I could never pay 10,000 for one puppy, I could get several yorkies for that price. |
Those prices are ridiculous!! I love this breed, but they better be able to clean my house, do laundry and fix meals for that price. We should all e-mail them and ask why their Yorkies are so special to ask that price. |
I have to laugh at this post because this site actually helped me get Ruby. My husband was waffling on getting a Yorkie because of the high cost of the dogs I was finding. Well, then I came across this site, back when I was searching, hubby didn't think $700. to $1000. was too terrible compared to the prices of these pups. |
Of course, you can't pay $10,000 for a Yorkie pup! That's crazy! What would be left to pay for all the other stuff - normal vet bills, toys, haresses, leashes, clothes, treats, travel accessories, etc., etc. :) . I'm sure it will go down in time (there is a limit to what you can buy for one Yorkie, isn't there?), but we've spent just over $400 a month on Bailey since we got her. |

It really upsets me to see breeders like this. They are breeding tinies, marketing to gullible people, and making large profits. And it's the poor little yorkies who suffer in the end with all the health problems that go along with being so tiny. Not to mention the owners who are burdened with high vet bills. Very sad.:( |
When we were looking for Meg we seen these prices everywhere. we would call a breeder and just ask do you have any pups not show quality. we wanted a pet we arnt going to start breeding we arnt going to show her. [and people who do is fine im not knocking you] but we didnt have $2500 to spend on a dog. and shipping come on now love you babys enough to pick them up or transport them yourself i think shipping could be cruel. i would never pack one of my kids in a creat and ship them by themselfs all scared and alone. you cant just buy them a first class ticket so it would be hard on a long trip but if all possible drive. |
My favorite part about this site.... "Shipping is Free" OMG, shipping damn well better be free!! Can you imagine $8,000 to $10,000 for an 8 month old dog...and then another $250 for shipping!! It's enough to make you scream, these people are crazy. What' crazier...is that there is someone out there who is willing to pay that much for god knows what reason. This is just absurd. I wouldn't spend that much for a dog even if it did pooh gold nuggets...on principle I wouldn't think twice about it. Gosh. |
