Well, it's worth having checked out. Pups need to be dewormed a few times, I think. Mine were given dewormer at least three times when they were little and I hadn't seen any worms until the last time. It wasn't in Lily's stool (lol, I checked, too) but I saw one little worm clinging to her back end. They will lose weight or bloat if they have worms. Julie |

Shylah was around 1.9 lbs when I got her and then she went to 1.7lbs, but she got a tummy ache from a bully stick and then was a real picky eater. We've decided she is allergic to Royal Canine food. She will eat Nutro Natural now and we have found she is a social eater and has to eat with the rest of the dogs so she is eating, pooping and peeing all normal. She sleeps a lot too. She plays hard in the morning and in the evening and sleeps almost all day. She has only gained a tiny bit in a week. She is 1.7.6 now but feeling good. You really worry when they are so small. |
well they are back to notwanting to eat i've tryed all sorts of stuff they really liked the royal canine for 2 days they don't like yogert wont eat nutra cal don't like iams not intrestes in ceaser don't like science diet they will eat cherios but are bored with them now! vet told me not to give cottage cheese it's more of a protein and they need carbs i'm at a loss i dunno what to do they are drinking ok a pooping and peeing i don't know if it's the heat and they don't want to eat or what i'm freaked out!! They seem ok just a little mopy is all?:confused: :confused: :confused: |
