Update on Mia (still LOST)
 

Hey everyone. Just a quick thanks from my husband & I. Reading your thoughts & prayers has just brought us to tears...(more tears). We are so thankful for your support, & it helps knowing people everywhere are praying for our baby, & for us.

We are still looking for her. We haven't stopped. We did try to get some sleep last night, but the minute we got up this morning, it was back walking the neighborhood. We have posted flyers on every single door in our neighborhood (over 300 flyers), posted them at local places like Wal-Mart, churches, gas stations, called the shelter & vets, searched the fields around our home, & placed an ad in the newspaper... & we will continue doing this until she comes home. Today we are going to make big posters (like a Yorkie member suggested) & put those all around.

For those of you who asked, we are in the Kansas City area... Blue Springs, MO to be exact. I should've posted that earlier... just too much running through my head as you can imagine.

I will let you know when we find her. I have to try & keep my mind off of her & all of the cute things she does, & how her life is with us, & keep my mind on simply getting her back. Sure is hard. But the load is just a little lighter knowing others are supporting us. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep praying for us. We need your prayers. Mia needs your prayers. Thank you all so much.

You're in my prayers - I checked your other post first thing this morning and am really really hoping today is THE DAY that you find her !! Someone had to have taken her in - I bet she's ok in someones home and they're just waiting to give her back.....Fingers are CROSSED and prayers coming your way for Mia !!

Thanks for the update. Keep looking - with all these prayers you have got to find her. Make sure you contact all the local vets and shelters too. If they haven't seen her, send a flyer so in case she comes in you'll be covered.

Mia - wherever you are, you are very loved. Please help Mommy & Daddy find you.

Have you tried the radio stations? Sometimes local stations will put "lost dog" blurbs on......

OMG I am so sorry how about contacting the local animal shelter , police department........I would maybe even rent one of those big sounders that police have and drive around yelling her name, maybe make or have her favorite food so she can smell it.....ummm one of mine whenever she darts out the door I push a squeaky and she comes running...good luck please keep us posted.. What torture you must be going through. Mia will be in my prayers

It breaks my heart to here that your baby is lost, I went through the same thing last year. Hopefully you will be reunited withyour baby..

You are doing everything you can to get her back. You are in our thoughts and prayers here on YT. We all feel your pain.

I'm so sorry that you haven't found her yet.

I don't think she would have run that far. I think she is hiding in some bushes very close to you. It just makes sense to me that she would have headed for cover.

If you haven't already done this, I would look in all the neighbor bushes. they can hide in some pretty small places.

She is probably still very frightened and won't even come when you call.

It's sad to think that a neighbor would have kept her if they found her, but that scenerio is better than her still being lost and frightened.

Don't give up hope. Lacy wasn't returned to me for two weeks! One thing is that my whole family had been praying separately and then my husband says, "you know the bible says when two or more come together..." so we all prayed together and just as we finished the prayer the phone rang! My Lacy was actually about a 45 minutes drive away from my house in another city. Well the people that found her called a friend of theirs who had Yorkies and since they thought she was really ill that they could afford the vet bills. Anyway, the person they called lived one street away from me and told them, "there's a lady looking really hard for her Yorkie, she has poster boards all over, I'm sure she would take it in and pay the vet bills" Anyway, it turned out it was my baby and she wasn't ill just extremely homesick! So never give up hope!

Found this update!!!!!!!! Stay strong and calm. I know that is easier said than done. I am hoping that your baby turns up. Hopefully someone took her in and will see the flyer. I will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Good luck!

We sent you a PM. Please know our prayers are with you both. We will watch for an update on Mia. We are praying that Mia is in the care of someone loving and that she is fine and that who ever has her is looking for her owner and she soon will be back with you. What amount are you offering in a reward?

Years ago our neighbor lost their poodle and they did exactly what you suggested, by going through the neighborhood calling his name real loud, and it turnd out that their poodle was in a home within their neighborhood, when they recognized his bark they were able to get him back :) They have terrific hearing and so this is an excellent suggestion. My thoughts are with you and I am praying for Mia's safe return very soon. Have you posted an ad in the newspaper? My heart is breaking for you- I can't imagine how difficult this must be!!

I am praying her in Cincinnati for your baby. I'm sure you are doing everything possible to find her. Yorkie Prayers are Powerful, we all feeling so bad for you. (((((( HUGS )))))
