| I have a question about this leash I know that it is best to use a harness on little pups, but I saw this leash and collar I liked do you think it would be wise to get one for Gia? Or should I just not even bother ordering it? Here's the link to the collar & the leash http://www.pawprintzpetboutique.com/...llars-luxe.htm |

| I use a collar and leash and have never had any problems. If you like it go for it! I looked and I think the collar and leash are so cute!

| I wouldn't do it...you'd be taking a chance on putting pressure on your pup's trachea and I don't think it's worth the risk!

| I wouldn't do it either. Too risky for a Yorkie, and there are tons of cute harnesses out there.

| A collapsed trachea is a very serious condition and can be cause by using a collar and leash. Harnesses only to attach a leash to. |

| Save your money and save your little ones life and only use a harness for walking your baby.

| The leash and collar are cute - but please get a harness instead. There are lots of sellers here on YT who make beautiful harnesses in many varieties with matching leashes and bows. Check out go.fetch.com from Tiger's Mom. I have ordered many things from her that I really love.

| Harness over a collar I used a harness this weekend for the first time with Frankie, my 5 month old Yorkie puppy - and it works wonders!!!!!!!!! It helps me lead while we are walking without pulling on her neck, and helps me give her a gentle little pull back when she is getting into trouble while I am telling her "no"... It is also great to have when I hold her, as I put a finger through the harness to hold onto her (she tries to wriggle free sometimes when I am holding her - could be very dangerous). Everyone who has a small dog should have a harness - I cant say enough how great they are!!!!! |
