| Here are several pictures of the car seat without the cover. I really had to crop them to get them to attach. It's not pretty but I hope it gives you some ideas. If you decide to use a plastic laundry basket you should be able to cut slits to put the straps through. That's what I did. As for making it elevated so they could see out better, maybe just another basket (smaller) turned upside down under it. You might get more ideas if you go to Walmart (or similar) and just look around. You might even already have something that you could just set under the basket. You could probably glue a lining in instead of sewing one if you have a glue gun. That's how I got the foam to stay put and I thought about just cutting pieces and glueing them in place but then it wouldn't be washable. Good Luck. Terri |
