Good stuffed toy for Yorkies???? 3 Attachment(s) Hi Everyone, Just wondering does anyone elses Yorkies tear up stuffed toys. Every stuffed toy that I have bought for Molly she has tore up, now it could be because they were from Walmart. ( cheap) I still think she is tearing them up really fast. Anyone know of any stuffed toys that can with stand my puppys chewing habit??? She will only play with stuffed toys she hates the plastic and the rubber kind. Can anyone help me find my Molly good stuffed toys??????????????? Thanks, Crystal and Molly |

Annabelle doesn't really like stuffed toys, except for a beanie baby whale. She usually goes to town on an old rag, or Hannah's little underwear. I think that a child's stuffed animal would work, they are really hard to tear apart. |
I heard that the Nylabone's were not good for them - Easy for them to choke on. But, I've never tried one, so I dont know for sure. |
I have found that baby toys hold up really well. Sophie likes them with the rattles and the crinkle in them. They seem to hold up better than the dog toys we buy her. Just make sure that they don't have any plastic eyes or noses that they can chew out and get choked on. :) |
Yeah, I agree with trying child stuffed toys. We've got a little squeaky stuffed toy for Tristan that he had dissected and removed the squeaker in no time! He has stolen a few stuffed animals from my children that have been holding up well!!!!:) Karen |
I have found that Walmart toys do not last long either. My problem is trying to keep my Golden away from the little toys because she just destroys them. Alphy has a baby kong that he loves and one of those Hartz bones. It's white on the outside and the inside is either purple, blue, orange, etc. All the dogs have them, size appropriate. Although :D Abby likes Alphy's and vice versa. |
ty makes beanie babies for dogs now they have them on their webbie ty.com under bow wow beanies i got one for my dog she likes it! it has a squeaker and crinkles in it! |
I think it all depends on the toys . . .some of Tigers are and some aren't. And now Nika seems to be picking up Tiger's destructive habits :eek: |

Yep, the walmart toys are cute, but cheap. Princess loves toys. The toys I get from Petsmart last a lot longer, that is until her sister Mandy finds them. Forget it, Mandy will chew up anything. Princess has her own little toy box. Her toys last a lot longer.:) :) :) :) |
