Anybody have any suggestions,To put a collar on my baby pebbles shes 2 and a half pounds and has 3 months?

Bella is about 2 1/2 lbs and almost 3 months old, I got her a collar in the cat section at Petco. It has a little bow and a little bell so I can hear where she is.

Collars are not really suited for these little ones coz they have tiny little necks, i use a harness and although Chelsey doesnt really know what the meaning of it is, i took her out for a walk with our lab this evening and she actually walked with me for a bit trying to keep up with my lab...
This afternoon i saw a thread on here showing a little dress with a "D" hook attached to it for the leash... really cute, specially if they are used to getting dressed, u dont have to bother with the harness sticking out from underneath the clothes...

I think you should consider a harness, rather than a collar. If they tug at the leash with a collar, it can cause trachea collapse and a harness would not be dangerous to her at all! I just got my dog a couple of dress/vest harnesses...they are so easy to put on and put no strain on her little neck!

I use a harness to walk her, but she has a collar for around the house with the bell and it has a tiny tiny tag with her name and our phone in case something were to happen she got out

i use a harness also because i'm scared if i use a collar it'lll choke her or her trachea will collapse.

i only use a collar for looks (i have the rhinestone one with the letters) .. but for walking and stuff like that i use the harness.

I use a harness for walks, but am considering getting a collar for Tia (Sandy wears a collar) -- I'm just not sure if it would be a safety hazard or not -- good question!

If you are looking for a harness to walk her, when mine were babies, I would use a harness, leash all in one. It is real light and adjust to there size. I got it at Petco for around $5 in the cat dept or ferret dept. It worked good till they were big enough to get there harness.

I use a harness,But I still havent put it on Pebbles as I guess shes to little but thankyou for replying!
