I need a girl! It's really all Sherry Lynn's fault because she started me thinking about it months ago. I want a little sister for Tucker so badly! Husband is adamant that we not get another one. My head knows he is right we have a lab and 2 cats in addition to Tucker. But my heart.....oh it is dying for a little girl to dress up and put bows on. Gee, maybe if one just showed up at our door he wouldn't throw her out! No, I know he'd kill me. Probably keep the pup and throw me out! But, I've even had 2 dreams about brining home a little girl! (Full grown, potty trained.....I don't want much!) Keep posting those little girl pictures everyone, so that I can at least get my fix! Anyone want to adopt a lab and two cats? j/k |

Oh I know how ya feel Teri, I'm the same way, recently bought a dress for someones little girl.. and ya know I had to put it on Bailey just to see, how dang cute he'd be as a girl... How wrong is that?? He'll be in counseling in a few years I'm sure of it.. But I want a little girl too, but I'm with ya on the already potty trained part.. especially since I got all my carpet cleaned yesterday! |

Teri, I totally agree...I'm so wanting to get a little gal, too!! :) Hubby is in total agreement with me that it would be great to get a little playmate for Topher, but financially right now we're not ready to take the plunge. I'm hoping that by the end of the year we can do it...we'll see. Keep working on hubby...once he saw a sweet little gal, he'd probably fall head over heels in love with her! |

She seems to think I've gone a little overboard because I've bought her a BUNCH of bows, a T-Shirt that says "Daddy's Little Girl" and a pretty big pile of toys. She does remind me that Bailey is supposed to be HER dog (Bailey was her Mother's Day present), but I just tell her I love HER dog. |

3 Attachment(s) Tucker needs a baby sister!!!!!! he would love her!!!! LOL! Look at cute they are with their little bows!!! ANd look at what a little daddy's girl she would be!!!! LOLOLOLOLLOLO!!!! How could your hubby resist that!!!! |
|
Teri my husband was the same way. So my kids found one reserved it and had it on hold for my mothers day gift. They told their dad 1 week before. How could he say no !! Now it has only been 4 short wks since Kali came to live with us and he is in love. But as far as the dresses and bows. She is a wild child. When I put her dress on she turns into an Angel because she hates it. But she is so adorable in it. And I have only been able to get one bow on her so far. That will improve with age I hope. |
|
oh Terri- I understand your desire and dreaming about it, it must be gonna happen. I agree with the already PT trained!!!!!!! In one short year with Kim I had forgotten how time consuming it can be. The older I get - the more I think- life is too short- do what you want. Will keep my eye out for the perfect one for ya. |

Thanks for the support all! I've always heard it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission! Hubby usually lets me have my way (that's how we got Bandit and then Tucker). But, I'm afraid another one would put him over the edge. I'll keep working on it. |
|
:) keep blaming Sherry Lynn....it works for me |

teri88.... Maybe you should just trade your husband for Bailey's Peeps! He wants more, you want more. His wife says no, your husband says no. Sounds like a trade made in heaven LOL!!!!! |
