a curly haired yorkie?? for some reason my puppy has kinda wavey hair. i know he's a pure bred yorkie so i dont get it. and when i was at my work yesterday, some obnoxious girl said oh he's not pure breed, yorkie's have straight hair. does anyone else have a yorkie that has wavey or curly hair? |
I have some AWESOME pictures! I was able to spend time with Oscar's Mom and little Oscar this weekend. Oscar is a GORGEOUS and SOFT curly haired 2 year old Yorkie purebred, too, and as soon as I get home, I will post some wonderful pictures of him for you! It is amazing to me how very different each individual yorkie is!! Enjoy yours!:p |
thank you so much, it would be nice to see another yorkie with curly hair so i can know how soma looks is normal. when that girl said that he wasnt pure bred it kinda hurt my feelings, i know she was wrong and didnt really know what she was talking about but it still hurt to her that. |
Why can't people just mind their own damn business. Like what on earth did she accomplish telling you something like that. I would have told her yeah right you are the yorkie expert in these parts. God people need to keep their mouths shut when it doesn't concern them..she is just jealous. They need to live by the old addage "if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all". |

I have seen tons of yorkies with coats like that. Remember the coat does change as they get older in color and possibly texture. |

Bailey's hair was very curly up until a month ago, it is straighter now and changing color, he is 6 months....I have people that think they know a lot more then they really do say things like that too, as well as the funniest one for me yet..."Thats no Yorkie!!!.....Thats a Rottewieler!!!....LOL |
i dont mind if his hair stays curly but it will be easier to take care of if its straight. i was thinking of cutting his hair too, for summer, if i do get it cut though its gonna be a mohawk, in memory of my lab mix meg who died a few years ago, we always use to give her mohawks and she always looked so cute, i miss her a lot. |
It looks like the hair is curly from being humid, lol. He's cute though, and he looks purebread. Maybe she was mis-informed. I don't think theres a need to attack her unless she said it in a snobbish way towards you, then you have all rights to snap on her! |
