How Do I Tell What They Will Be??? Can U Help Me? Hello there, well all 4 of my babies will be 4 weeks old tomorrow, I love every single one of them!! I tell U they are so special and sweet...We have 2 of each...Can U tell @ 4 weeks if their hair will be silky or curly? I was just wondering... Any thoughts here? I would like to be able to tell but don't know if we can or not! I'm not letting them leave our home until they are 12 weeks old...If I can even bare to let them go then, I haven't even put any ads out yet for selling them...I don't know guys if I can or not...I'm so attached to these babies it isn't funny! Will I be able to tell by 12 weeks how their coats will be? Hugs, Lee

You're not alone, I never can tell. Usually if the coat is very thick and wavy I think it is probably going to be a cotton coat. I definitely have no clue what colors they are going to be. I think by breeding the same pairs and following up on them is the best way to make an educated guess. Take lots of pics and then get the new owners to send pics and start your own data base.

Oh you poor girl! Be prepared to shed some tears!! It really is hard letting them go to their forever homes...until you get the wonderful call or email or updated photo with a wonderful letter telling you how that little pup is the light of their lives now. Anyway....to your question....I'd say no, you can't tell yet. They will start REALLY changing at 6 weeks...then it will seem to be something new each day after that. Have fun!!

I know it will be so hard. I can't stand the thought of it now so I don't know what I'll do when the day comes! I'm going to try to get photos posted of them soon, they've got me so busy and with my girls being home it's hard for me to find the time to get on here much, when I do come to my computer I find myself right here @ the Yorkee board! LOL! I love reading all the post and it's so helpful what answers others has to the questions. Thanks for U're thoughts! Hugs, Lee & babies!
