what is your yorkie's funniest trait? I was laughing today. We had a thunderstorm come through. Our oldest, Tyke is TERRIFIED of storms and was panting and shaking. I sat on the couch holding him as our youngest, Bubba, stood in the family room barking up a storm everytime there was thunder. Everytime there is thunder, Bubba apparently thinks that is someone trying to come into his backyard. He will stand there and bark and bark and bark and never stop. Sometimes I wonder when he stops to take a breath :p As for Tyke...his funniest trait is when Bubba and him are playing. When Tyke has had it he will angle himself and shove his butt in Bubba's face and manuever himself the entire time to stay that way as long as Bubba keeps trying to play. I guess you have to be there to find the humor in it :p What do your yorkies do that you can't help but laugh at? :p |
My little girl Duchess makes me laugh,she thinks she is mummy little body guard. Duke has a habit of biting and holding on to the bottom of my trouser legs when I am walking, and Duchess knows that I dont like it,so she growls at him and nips his ankles. Also Duke doesn't like me with my hair tied in a pony tail so when I sit on the sofa,he climbs up on the back and pulls my hairband out with his teeth! So of course mummys little body guard tells him off agin,it's so cute, i love my babies and could write a book about their funny little traits! :D |
When I tell my 2 legged kids to clean their toys up off the floor my Lil Bumblebee will take all the toys under the bed. Even the ones that are bigger than she is. It is so funny. |
I love when Ginger is trying to smell something and she wiggles her little nose. |
When ozzie gets all " watchdog" over a noise outside or something ... He does this funny thing where he sort of bounces up on his legs and paws like a brama bull .. it makes everyone laugh. |

We've only had our babies a couple of weeks, so we have so much "getting to know them" to look forward to! They make me smile everytime I look at them!!! Today I was thinking how cute and sweet it was when I'm walking around the house, and have to stop suddenly---two little wet noses bump into the back of my ankles! :p |

Malibu has a foot fetish. He will whine for us to put our feet on the coffee table so he can lay his head on them or have us rub him with them. :eyebrow2: Wierd, but way cute. That is a consistent trait, but the funniest thing ever happened the other day. I love watermelon but don't eat it on a regular basis so he has never seen it. He was fine with it when it was all round and green but when I cut into it, he went crazy barking at it. So funny...I don't know what he thought it was. I so wish we could read their thoughts. :) He even watched me eat some and then he barked at it some more. Crazy dog!! |
when we play ball with Starsky, he tries to jump and catch the ball with his paws. It's hilarious to watch him spring up and try to grab it! He also barks at dogs on TV! |
Jazzie smiles. When ever she likes someone she will smile before giving them kisses. Some people thinks she is snarling or going to bite but once I explain it's her smile they just love it. She will smile on command too. Just a little bit of her top teeth shows! |
I love it when Dougal does "head squiggles" when he's sooo excited. He'll plough his head into the bed or couch and wiggle it violently about. Then he looks up at me all happy with his face fur going every which way! :D Dixie's cutest habit happens whenever I get home she's soo excited she wants to run forward but also look back at me (cos I've been gone SO long!) so she walks along "U" shaped with both her butt and face pointing in my direction! :eek: (Personally I'd trip up if I walked like that!):p |
Eddie's funniest (bad) habit is playing keepaway. I mistakenly dropped a whole Yummy Chummy on the floor tonight. (I usually cut them into fourths.)He snatched it like a Python swallowing a field mouse and took off before I even knew what happened. |

Generally Tucker hates his belly rubbed. But, if he is laying on the floor and I rub his back with my foot, he turns right over. It's ok to rub him with my foot, but for some reason, he doesn't like the hand rub:rolleyes: |
When you pick Jewels up she grunts. Chachi is an attention hog. He will put hs legs on you untill you gve him some attention when you are holdng Jewels |
We get the biggest kick out of Bailey's pattern of playing with her toys. She has one or more toys in each of three rooms, plus an foyer and a hallway. She will grab one of her toys and run with all possible speed to the next one, drop the first toy, grab the second toy, run to the next one, repeat the procedure until she has gone once or twice around the circuit and then plop down to chew on the last one for a while - until the exercise catches up with her and she falls asleep on the spot. |
brandi cocks her head when you say hungry:D annie has a armpit fetish where she will keep lifting her leg up for you to scratch her armpit,she even does it to the other dogs if they brush past her:D now tye is older his tongue sticks out the side of his mouth and looks so funny:D and zac stands in front of you and kicks his legs back while growling untill you pick him up, he also hates it if someone passes wind lol he will look around at them with disgust and get off there lap lol:D |

Toto is such a hoot, there isn't time nor space to list all the funny things she does! She just keeps us in stitches all the time .... but the most unbelievably funny thing she does is dance!!! Yep! Uses all four feet and just dances like crazy ... it's something she began doing all on her on, first just the front feet and eventually began using all four of them! :p Sometimes she does it for a treat and other times she just does it when she's happy! I got the camcorder out and as soon as I can, am going to try to get it on tape! ;) |
Jackson has just discovered his reflection in the door of my dishwasher, and he will growl at "the other dog" for the longest time, thinking that someone else is there to steal mommy's attention! |
Coco hates anyone crossing their arms. She will growl at you. My boyfriend stands with his arms crossed and watches TV, and out of nowhere like a bat out of hell, she'll run up and growl at him until he uncrosses his arms...lol..what a geek:D |
For Magic, it would defintely have to be when she plays ball, she always carrys her ball in her mouth like a little cigratte...it hangs half in her mouth and half out!! She has done it since she was little and still does it today...her ball is her little pacifer and she can't go a day without it!! With Sailor it would have to be playing with the water hose....anytime my dad goes out to water the planets or trees, she goes totally berk and jumps up and down trying to catch the water in her mouth!! She will bark and whine until he sprays her with it....it is the funny thing in the world!! |
When ever Lady is in a certain area of the house, she has to drag ALL her toys into that room. When we first got her she used to drag them all into her crate. Its the cutest thing to see her with all her toys surrounding her. |

After I come home for work I let Baby out of her cage. Well she runs out and then runs back in the cage to take all her toys out of the cage. It's so cute! |
