YT 500 Club Member | Does your yorkie sleep a lot? Dolly sleeps a lot is this normal? She will be 2 in Dec guess maybe she is out growing the puppy stage. I miss her wanting to play all the time |

| I've only had one yorkie who I got when she was 5 1/2. Lexie is 9 now, but does sleep alot. That's just her mellow temperament. She's never been one to play at all, so i think it just depends on the dog. I wouldn't worry if she's otherwise healthy & happy. |

| when I first got Emy at 11 weeks, she took a couple naps a day and slept all through the night. She's been teething, I'm finding teeth, (3) so far, she's about 5 months now, some days she doesn't eat hardly anything and other days she eats all her daily food allotment up by noon. I think the teething is bothering her, cause now she seems to sleep all day....not that I mind, I need a break, she is very hyperactive, so for her to sleep and give me time to relax a little is nice. We take a walk a couple times a day, and I play with her for about 45 minutes with her toys before bedtime. But she is sleeping more than when I first got her now. |

| I think these babies tend to do what they see their owners do. If you are not very active then they will tend to lay around. I have had some pretty serious health issues since I have en had Gracie. When I am doing well and up and around she is active and always ready to go for walks and play games. If I am in bed unable to do much she lays right by my side and does not even ask to play ball. If you find your little one being less active get her involved in some games of fetch and go for walks. I'm sure she will love to do anything you want to do. |
