Hello everybody! Today I brought MaeMae and BeeBee to the Old Navy Dog Casting in NYC. WHat a turn out! Hundreds and hundreds of dogs showed up! It was soooooo much fun as owners tried to dress up their pooch to become the next big thing! I went with my sister and she brought her dog. It was amazing and I have so many pictures to share with you. I saw so many yorkies there but I just couldn't take fast enough pics!

1. line went DOWN the block! We waited over 2 hours to be seen!
2. One of many business cards we got... this is a pet model agency in NY
3. a very big Great Dane
4. another line of contestants!

Awww that would be fun standing in that line, even though I hate lines. I sure do hope a yorkie wins it.

Cool! I sent in a pic of Baby about a week ago, but didn't hear anything. Everyone thinks they have the best looking dog! LOLOL :p

That looks like so much fun! What a turn out! Your babies are the cutest :) But the yorkie in the red reminds me so much of Simon!

Wow, a NYC casting! My poor, country Yorkies don't have a chance. We sent in our tiny pics to their Web site, but you wouldn't think they'd select their winner off the Web site with 100,000 entries if they've met dogs in person.

But I agree, MaeMae is definitely the cutest of all the pics you posted. Good luck.

Hey, BabyFidgette (and anybody else who entered online), you can see if Baby was officially entered by going back to the Web site and clicking on Check out the competition. There are ways to limit the search to breed, hometown or name. Then set it up to search 48 dogs at a time and punch in page numbers. I found Eddie and Jack in about 5 minutes by searching Anchorage.

Wow what great pics!! I knew there was going to be a huge turnout at Union Square today so I didn't even attempt to take Nikko (I sent his pic online). Thank goodness it was a beautiful day weather-wise and it looks like you guys had a great time.:) Good luck to all those on YT who submitted their babies in the contest. I'm glad I'm not a judge with all those cuties to choose from.

Oh Nikko... you should have came! It was fun! There was really no point in the line today...... it wasn't a real casting.... it was just a marketing gimmick to draw attention. We still waited on line but it was fun just to see other pet owners and their dogs. At the end... they just took a picture and moved on. No interview.... no tricks.... nothing.
And it was funny to see all these people walk by and flip out because there were just soooo many dogs! LOL

I know I am gonna get some heat, but I hope a Yorkie doesn't win. It will mean another run on these toy breeds like the Brittney, Paris snafu.

Very cool! It's kind of exciting to see your pup's official entry form. Of course, then you see there are 100,000 dogs to beat.

I'm not as smart as BabyFidgette and can't figure out how to post the whole entry here.

You have to have a program called "Snag it." You "snag" just what you want. It's a cool program! ;)
