Does your yorkie watch Animal Planet while you're away?

Whenever my husband Eli and I leave Sully in his kennel for over 2 or 3 hours, we always put his kennel in front of the TV and let Sully watch Animal Planet!

We spoil him, I suppose.....but we feel so bad when we leave. Even if Sully could care less, at least doing this calms the "separation-anxieties" of my husband and me, hehe!

Nope. Bailey doesn't watch/listen to anything while we're gone

Sandy watches it, ALL the time. I have it on in my room almost 24/7 and if she's not with me, usually she's in on my bed watching it. I'm not sure if she can see much, or if she likes the sounds or what...but it totally cracks me up!

Dounia my Lab watches animal planet every afternoon, thats a good way to get her to relax while Chelsey takes her nap and every night before we go to sleep i watch animal planet with both of them on the bed, it really seems to relax them and they drop off to sleep in no time

Toto watches Animal Planet too. We always leave it on for her if we have to out without her. I don't know if she actually "watches" but it appears that she does, plus the noise cuts down on little outside noises! She & I used to watch it all day but there are so many repeats, now we watch a lot of Trading Spaces!!

I don't know if Tommy watches it but every time I put his gate up when I am leaving I put the T.V. on Animal Planet. Makes me feel better I hope he likes it..lol

Frankie likes to watch. I think most of the time we are watching him watch it... It's so cute to see his reactions to the different sounds on the tv. He also likes Americas Funniest Videos and American Idol, he'll just stop whatever he is doing and listen to them sing. He tilts his head back and forth duing the song and it almost looks like he's swaying to the music even if he's just reacting to the different pitches it's really cute!!

I started laughing so hard when I read this post because I do the samething whenever we leave for work and my boyfriend thinks I am crazy. But I swear Mickey is actually watching the television trying to figure out whats going on.
