What does your Groomer charge? After reading another post, wondering.. What does your groomer charge and what do you get? Mine is $20 for small dogs, and it includes, bath, nail trim, haircut,( no matter if it's a shave or just a trim) Clean ears, trims very good around eyes and butt. And a bow or bandana. My Bf takes his Cocker there also and her charge for him is $25, for a little bigger dog. |
Your groomer is cheap!! $45 bucks everywhere here. I am trying a mobile groomer that I haven't used before, but it'll be far more convenient than taking Ramsey somewhere....now she can get her "new do"...right here while I'm at work. $45 is the works you get for $20.... |
I am in the state of MD and they charge me $35 to have Tootsie groomed. That includes a bath, blow drying and trimming her nails if they need it. If I ask for a coat conditioner then it is $5 more. The girl that does her is GREAT! Sometimes I ask her to cut Tootsie's lenght...since she has the long coat it does tend to drag the floor so she will get a small trim...oh yes..and they include in that price a sanitary trim. Boy...wish I lived in OH....what great prices! When I lived in PA in the Harrisburg area there they charged $25 for all that. |
Plus, I forgot, If I'm letting his hair grow out, I can stop in and she will trim his nails for free, I usually give her 5-10 bucks, cause he is SO BAD about getting his nails done. I've watched it's not pretty, at all. |
I take my dogs to a place by my house. I only allow one woman there to groom them and I stay and watch the entire procedure -- I NEVER leave them alone there (I'm too suspicious) even though I love the woman who grooms them and I can clearly see that my pooches love her by all the kisses they give her. :) :) They charge me $40 per dog. This price includes a bath, cut/trim, nails clipped, anal glands expressed, ear hair removed, bow or bandana, etc. It pretty much covers EVERYTHING except a hot oil treatment. :) :) So if I take both my dogs on the same day, it costs me $80. Plus I give her a tip. |
Dreama's foster mom is a professional groomer! Chrisy kept Dreama for 8 months for a former grooming client while trying to find her a forever home. She is so thrilled to continue a relationship with her, that she only charges us $10 to beautifully groom Dreama! When she can, she also brings her 6 year old with her so that the little girl can play with her former doggy again! Isn't that cute?:D Wosie is free! I groom her myself. :p I used to bring Jasper and Angel to Petsmart, and it was $35 each.:( |

I used to pay £18 here in the uk with all the above except the bow, she was very good will go back if I ever get another yorkie. |
$20.00!!!!!! What a deal!! Our groomer is $55.00, I don't mind the cost, she takes Princess right away. And she call's me right before she's done, so Princess has no crate time there.:) :) :) |
$30.00 in Austin |
My groomer is $35. More if there is matts |
We pay $30 and I love our groomer. She does it out of her home (has a set up in her laundry room) He gets the works, plus she always puts a little bandana on him! He's usually done in an hour or so and then I go right back and get him. |
The works My charges $36 for the works. Atlanta suburb. |
Same here Rhonda it cost me 20 and you get the whole works, the lady does a very good job! I was really pleased with her! |
I think our groomer charges $25 or $27 (in Brenham, TX) and she does a beautiful job! She has always been owned by Yorkies herself so she understands exactly what I want her to do with Tatum. After hearing some of the grooming horror stories here, I feel so grateful to have her! |
We use a mobile groomer because it is far less stressful and way more convenient than dragging them all around. I pay $45.00 per dog which also includes everything from head to toe. So, $45.00 X 3 + tip puts me back $150.00 every 6 to 8 weeks. |
my groomer is $55.00 plus 10 dollar tip..... more than a cut for me |
Groomers around here charge all different prices. Sue usually takes them to one shop who gives her a discount if she does several at one time. We take the adults one day (4), and the puppies at a different time. She does pups ears, trims toenails etc. and the adults get the works. I know Sue usually gives her a pretty good tip, so she keeps giving Sue a good price. Once when she was on vacation we had the mobile groomer come and do 4 babies and I think 4 adults. He charged $25 each for the adults, and (I think) $5 for the pups. Then there are other groomers I have called and they want $35 to $50 per dog. I took Parker to Petco once when I was dog sitting him and Sue still lived in San Diego. I think it was about $25, and they did a great job. |
Mac and Mellie are $100.00 plus tip every 7-8 weeks. |
Our groomer charges $10-$14 and it includes : bath, ear cleaned and trimmed... anal glands expressed, nails trimmed blowdry, combing.... perfume and bow/ bandana.... they do a great job and they are well.... gay guys so that is even better.!!!:D :D :D |
I have never had my new yorkie groomed. The last groomer I had that did my Toto is out of business now she used to charge me $15. Now I have had my Shih tzu groomed last year and it cost me $45. Big mistake too. That dog cried for days. I just wonder if they may have been mean to him. She did comment she lad lost of trouble with him around his face. |
Somebody knows a good groomer for yorkies in miami or hollywoood, Fl. I am looking for a good grooming service for my nine months little yorkie. Last time I take her to Petsmart. They charge me 30 $. But this is not the point. I only ask to bath, trim her nails and they shaved her instead the part she had tangles. I was really furious and I'll never take her again to Petsmart for the grooming. Thank you for your help. |
My groomer is free ;) I bought some andis clippers, dog scissors, nail clippers and bathe him in the bathtub. |
Here in Woodbridge Va is 45.00 for the works. And the mobile groomer is 60.00. |
Mine charges $35 for the works and does a great job. Our vet charges the same price but I haven't tried them. I'm too chicken to trim Jaxon myself plus he's so squirmy - I'd probably never get it all done. |
$19...its kinda a strange amount why not make it $20, but I was going to tip $5 and went ahead and tippe 6 to make it even so it didn't really matter. They washed dried and trimmed. They did the sanitary trim, her beard and feet. They didn't do anything with the hair in her ears or her nails though, but I don't know if they forgot to do the nails, didn't think she needed them or if it would've been extra. I didn't notice until I got home and I haven't taken her back in yet. |
Ginger’s usual groomer charges $23 for everything. But this last I think she forgot her ears so I took her to this groomer down the street to shave them real quick (Ginger’s normal groomer is about 30 minutes away). The owner seemed a little…off, and the place was dirty, but I figured she’s only doing the ears and I’ll be right here, so it should be okay. When I went to pay her with my debit card, she says she only takes cash and will have to hold Ginger ‘til I get back with it. It was $7.00. There was no sign on the door about her “cash only” rule either. I was kind of upset. Because quite frankly the woman gave me the creeps, it was only $7, and she wouldn’t even accept holding my purse—with all it’s contents, instead of my dog ‘til I got back…Okay that was a little off subject. Sorry. lol |
I groom our dogs myself and just last night I groomed a friend of mines maltese mix. The local groomers charge depending on size. small dogs are $25 bath nails etc. flea dip is $10 extra, and it goes up to my giant size dog was $40 just for the bath but he's got short hair so that's all he needs |

Wow, you’re brave. When I get in situations like that I’m rarely ever bold. Then I get home and kick myself for not doing something. Well, one thing’s for sure, that woman did not win over a customer…if that means anything to her. What kind of business doesn’t take debit cards anyway? lol |
Twenty even!!!!!!!!! I pay what u pay....Twenty Buckaroos!!!!!!!!! |
