Looks like a Yorkie to me. |
Is this a purebred yorkie? Hello, I am the lady who has this female for sale. I bought her 6 weeks ago from a woman in Kerrville,Tx. She said she was moving and couldnt take "Lady" with her. I asked about her background before I bought her,had she ever had problems with having babies, she had her very 1st litter by c-section. But never had a problem after that. She was originally AKC, but when the woman and her husband got divorced he refused to give her the papers for the dog. Her hair had been very closely cut, because the woman said Lady had gotten into stickers and I guess she just didnt want to take the time to pull them out. I took her to my vet and had him check her out, he told me the c-section scar was indeed old. and except for the extreme haircut she looked to be in pretty good shape. I normally dont buy small female yorkies, but she is cute, friendly and loves to be cuddled. I am honest with people up front that she had a c-section before and she is not registered. I would prefer she just be a pet, but if someone wants her for breeding I am honest right off about the c-section scar and I tell them exactly what the woman told me. |
Looks like a yorkie to me. What is this dog's registry? (just curious). Yorkies that are cut way down like this one take on a whole different look. You (or whoever) needs to let the hair grow back out. |

not sure 4 Attachment(s) I can't say wether or not it's a purebred Yorkie, and really without DNA proof no one can be 100% sure, here is what Moe looks like wet, and also shaved, as you can see he also looks like a chorkie, (chihuahua/yorkie) at certain angles, but he is 100% yorkie.I also included one of his short but not shaved look, we keep Moe short haired due to his extremely messy ways.LOL |

Is this a purebred yorkie? I know it was probably stupid to buy her, but I felt sorry for the little girl. She is such a sweet little dog. |
not stupid your not stupid! Really in my own opinion, unless you plan to breed or show, who cares if its a pure bred or not? If you felt sorry for her, and had a bond for her, hey then you two were meant to be! I don't condone the careless puppy mills and farms churning out got knows what DNA, but once they are here on planet Earth, what can we do but love them for all thier faults, and all thier differences to the norm.I say, if this dog needed a home, and you had it in your heart to do so..then thats deffinately NOT stupid.Moe was a farmed puppy, this I am sure of, as is the vet, this factor was never told to us...but there are many signs with him that give it away....he is too inbred for me to ever breed him or show him, but that doesn't mean he doesnt deserve my love or my home. |

only six weeks? Poor thing being moved around so much. Hope she gets a forever home. |
Is this a purebred yorkie? I didnt buy her for breeding, she was just so scared looking when I went to meet the woman and I just decided right then to buy her. All my Yorkies are AKC/UKC registered except 1 female she is UKC registered. I was skeptical about her(Lady) at first also, but her hair is growing back out and she is going to have a beautiful coat when it does. I kept her for 6 weeks because the woman told me she was possibly bred, so I decided to wait to find a new home for her. I will go down on the price "if" she goes to a pet home only. I knew from the start that I was going to lose what I paid for her, but oh well. |
IMO if she has had enough trouble with breeding to require an emergency c-section then she should be fixed before going to her next home. I think that is what the first owner should have done to be responsible. I would hate for the next person to use her as a cash cow. She looks very small. How much does she weigh? by the way... I think she does remind me of a yorkiechi, her nose, the shape of her head, and her eyes. |
Is this a purebred yorkie? 2 Attachment(s) Having problems with my computer, took me awhile. Here are 2 pics I just took of her. |

Yes i think so, i think most would look like this if their hair was cut that short |

I am going to get my Scamp done like this:D |
There are high chances that that's a purebred. When a yorkie has a long coat, it is hard to see the true shape of the head. Read any book about them and they will usually have a picture like that. It's just that the poor baby was shaved and looks like that. When the hair grows, she'll look like your baby. |

How & when do you know you are getting a poorly bred Yorkie:eek: |
She is such a little sweetie. She loves to have her shoulders massaged. |

BTW, if I lived in TX I would adopt her and have her spayed. I hope that poor girl gets a good forever home. Bless her little heart!!:) |

Her ears really arent that big, I try to get the best pictures I can of her. But you know how it goes trying to get them to stand just so. |

She looks cute to me . Why ask if she is a purebred Yorkie ? Is she going to be for pet or breeding ? |
I prefer for a pet. |

They play in the mud, in and out of the kiddie swimming pool, rolling around in things  .. lol It just cooler and cleaner to keep them cut down in the summer. I think what threw most about the OP of the little female is they shaved her face hair, which made her look more Chi.. I think she will make someone a sweet little pet..;) |
She's adorable. I hope she finds a forever pet only home. How much are you selling her for? |
