I am saving my money for now. Stress at school(sigh). Tests ,quizzes , homework,etc. Plus I have to save up some money to get one first. But I am waiting for the right time because I have a lot to do for this year. I recently just moved into a new house so I am trying used to it. |
Sounds like you have a lot of stress going on. It's hard, I know - but look at it as: You'll know THAT much more about Yorkies/puppies when you do find your baby ;) |

I wanted a Yorkie for years before I could afford one or the situation was right! It will happen for you too! Sounds like you are blue from lots of changes and stress in your life. I believe God puts us in the places we're supposed to be! You'll be just fine, Sweetie! |

Just as stated above, jump right in! I just joined about a month ago and was accepted quickly! It's fun to think of all the good that has been done for me and my doggie since "we" joined this forum! Sully is 8 mo. and I have had a chance to share what we've learned so far, helping others, and all that has been shared with me has helped me so much witih Sully! In fact, a thread yesterday made me hop out of my seat and switch Sully to adult food that day! Well, gradually, as we're supposed to, but start switching, anyway. This forum is only as good as its contributors, and everyone is thankful for everyone! I look forward to seeing you around more! And if you ever need anything or ahve questions, etc - feel freee to PM me anyday. |

I'm sorry you have not felt like you are "liked". Just want you to know that it's fairly common for people to join forums before the actually have a yorkie. It doesn't matter if you own one, want one or just fancy the breed. Everyone is welcomed to join in on the fun. This forum just happens to be a very large group so it's not as intimate as some smaller forums. YT is a very high traffic, high volume forum but the more the merrier :-) . I joined maltese and yorkie forums before I ever owned one. It helped me decide if the breeds were right for me. |

I know the feeling you expressed. I felt that way but it was on another forum and no one seemed to reply to my posts. It was just that they had all been together for a long time and I was a "newbie". It just takes a little time for people to get to know you and before you know it it will be like you were always a "regular here"! |

I'm a "newbie" too! But I think I've been around long enough to say "WELCOME"! Everyone here is so nice! I didn't plan on joining the site, let alone posting. I've had several bad experiences with like forums in the past with people who are real "meanies" so I steer away from this kind of thing usually! BUT, the more I read here, AND learned, the more I wanted to be a part!!! We all share a common ground in that we LOVE yorkies! You can't share that love with just anyone you know! :) Some people don't understand it, but I can assure you that EVERYONE here does! I have laughed at myself several times and thought, "I am a thread killer" :D But I know in my heart that's not it. Every thread has to have a stopping point, THEN IT'S TIME TO START A NEW ONE :p I have learned so much here and I am addicted to it! Ebay used to be my home page, but now YT is! I constantly click on the new posts link! Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I cry at what I read and I learn something new just about everyday! I'm coming out of my shell now and my goal is to be a "Senior Yorkie Talker". I used to think that "those" posters must be in their sixties :D Again, WELCOME! |

First Timer! I just found this site and adore looking at it!!! You guys are the greatest when it comes to sharing information. I wasn't planning to post anything, but this message hit so close to home!! I have waited for a puppy for a LONG amount of time and ended up in situations where I couldn't have one. After much research, waiting, and time spent with USELESS breeders, I finally found a wonderful breeder that has become a great friend!!!! On Feb 21, 2005, I welcomed my beautiful little baby BELLA home. Bella is a wonderful blessing. I cherish her so much! Please understand things happen in due time. Your blessing will come soon enough, and when it does, it will be well worth the wait! :) School is important, but not stressing yourself out is too!!! Relax and take one day at a time. Believe it or not, everything will fall into place. |
