Okay! I need your opinions! 3 Attachment(s) I have a pup left out of my litter. She weighs 1lb. 6oz today at 11wks. I want another yorkie. Should I keep this one or find a different one? My husband says sell her. What do you all think?:D Oh, here is some pictures of her at 9-10wks. |
I would keep her if you want another one. Is there a particular reason your hubby says sell her? It would be alot easier to keep this one then to find another one, plus you know where she came from for sure!:) |

Hubby says sell her because he don't want anymore dogs! That and he thinks she's gonna stay to small. |
The only reason I can think of is why you would want a different one is if you plan on breeding her and she is related to your only male. If not, I would keep her since you know she is healthy and she's already settled in. Also, I think it would be really nice if mom and baby could remain together. |

Mine was that weight at 12 weeks and he still managed to almost make 4 pounds. All of my Yorkies have been 4 pounds and they were raised with two girls. I think it depends on the kids. My girls are now 18 and 21, but they were raised around puppies from the time they were born and we never had any accidents, but then again adults can step on them just as easily. |

I say keep her....she is adorable and she is used to being at your house and I think as long as your children are careful she should be fine with them!! |
Keep HER!!! She is adorable!!!!!! I say keep her!! If you are not planing on breeding her, what dose the size matter I wish I could get another one, but we have 3 pet max here in Germany and scent my husband found a little kitten, we are at are max. |

Keep her!!!!!!!!! It is so hard to find a yorkie as cute as that!! She is at a great weight. My Baby was 1.5 pounds at 12 weeks and now at 2.5 years old she is 4 pounds. Perfect size and weight. I am looking to get another in July. Good Luck |

I told my husband the best mothers day gift would be that he put a bow on the pups head and give her to me and tell me we can keep her. He just laughed at me. He still thinks we should sell her. I can't convince him to keep her. :( She is so adorable! I find him holding her all the time and when I say we should keep her he just says who ever gets this pup is gonna be on lucky duck! I just roll my eyes and walk away because I want to be the lucky duck that gets her! We\'re still discussing it although he says he won\'t change his mind. :aimeeyork |
She\'s very tiny and only 11 weeks. Just tell him you want to wait a few more weeks to let her gain some weight and let him get more attached. Then he may be easier to convince to keep her. On the other hand, how many do you have already? |

Oh i would love to be that "Lucky Duck" LOL... but i\'m too far away so that\'s no option. To try and convince your DH - tell him that she will be his dog, he can carry her around in his pocket :D Chanel was that weight at 12 weeks, she was 1 in march and now weighs almost 4,5 lbs, so see.... there\'s plenty chance she\'ll grow & grow lol |
I\'d keep her no use it trying to get a new puppy settled in later and if the kids do well with them from birth to ready for new homes that shouldnt\' be a problem then. I\'m sure they already know how fragile she is. If it were me -not that this would be the best idea mind you- I would tell my hubby ok I\'ll try to find a home and then ask and absolulty outragous price and then after a you\'ve had more time to convince him the puppy should stay just say oh I can\'t find a buyer and I\'m not selling for less than she\'s worth. seems to you she\'s already priceless anyway. but not everyones hubby is like mine either. |
