Daisy did not want a bath yesterday and got even with me... Now mind you, she has not had an accident in my house in over 2 months... She had her bath, looking at me with those "I'll get you back eyes" As soon as I put her down I went to get Ty to bath him.. I turn around and she is pooping on my kitchen floor!!!! Looking straight at me... I know this was pay back!! She did not want a bath and was letting me know.. Anyone else ever have their babies "get back at them"?? |
LOL...sorry to laugh, but these little guys can have such strong personalities, that it is sometimes hard not to laugh at them...my Bailey hates his bath, but he has never done that, just goes to his bed when I am all finished his grooming and gives me that .."I'll never forgive you!" look, though he always does! |
The first thing we do after bath is put them out!! I call it "stress potty". They ALWAYS have to go!! :p |
LOL! I know you dont think its funny but it made me laugh! Chloe hates her baths too! |
I haven't had this experience w/Bella yet but I did have a situation like this w/my Mom's cat! I was living at home, 19 and pregnant. :( Not such a good situation but fortunately for me, I had a wonderful, supportive mother. :heart to So anyways, I brought my beautiful daughter Ariana home from the hospital, and my Mom's cat (who was 8yrs old and had always been the PERFECT cat) was scared of my daughter and seemed to hate her. He at first hid from us and the crying bundle in the crib, but then one night, came into my room... jumped in my bed (which woke me), and looked at me and pissed right on me!!! And then walked away as if nothing happened. I figured he was getting me back for bringing the baby home. He never did it again just that one time. It was unreal. I forgave him. He's 16 yrs old now and still a wonderful cat. :) |
When my neighbors had a baby, my Lacy would poop at my feet when I held the baby. Also, when my sister would come and visit she would poop right outside her door. I don't know if it was so much of a getting even issue or just a showing of dominance. |
Gross! I'd be freaking out in all of these situations! |
DaisyMaesMom -- Your little dog didn't poop just to get even with you. It was the excitement of the bath with the water (and her probably not enjoying it a bit) that caused her to have to go to the bathroom. Poor little girl! I used to have a dog that would get so excited everytime he went for a ride in the car that we almost always had an accident. .... no fun? Carol Jean |
Oh my god this is so funny! A few days ago I gave my Daisy her first bath. She was not diggin it at all. I told my boyfriend , "she is going to get us back by peeing all over the place" Not even 5 min after I said that, I was drying her off, she jumped off my lap and started peeing on the couch. I picked her up and put her on her pad and as I was cleaning the couch she started peeing on the carpet. Man oh man I am going to have to be really careful with her after bath time now. |
the same thing happen to me the other night after i gave BoBo a bath...he always uses his pad and right after i gave him his bath i was cleaning up my mess (his mess lol) and looked over and he was pooping right in front on my chair i sit in all the time lol...i went over and got him and told him NO NO really loud and put him on his pads becasue they say if you let them by with the behavior they will continue to do it everytime they get mad at you....i think it made me eel worse than it did him but i didnt let him know that lol....my best friends mom had a poodle and everytime it would get mad at someone it would wait until they went to bed and poop in thier shoes and it would never get wrong shoes i know one time she brought a friend home with her and all the girl done was say no no to the dog in a real nice way and it made her mad at the girl and the next morning when they were getting ready for school the girl put her shoes on to find a nice supprise of dog poo lol to funny....but this poor dog was never scolded they actualy laughed about it so it made it worse i guess....her mom would get really mad if you said anyting at all to the dog or about the dog....i mean i can kinda see her point i dont like when someone says something mean about bobo but i think if he done something like that to someone that would be the place to draw the line lol...i think these dogs are smarter then ppl give them credit for and they know how to get you back lol |
lol I havent' had this happen with my yorkie...yet he's only had 1 bath so far and getting another tomorrow. but my basset hound now he's a differnt story he gets mad at you for anything not usually a bath cause he kinda likes those he gets mad and waitrs till your not watching him and pees on your PILLOW. never gets the wrong pillow either. |
after i towel dry romeo and let him run he goes straight to his wee wee pad and lets out a huge pee pee. maybe it's because they are scared. |
it's the water and when you rub them to get them clean. we had to hand raise a litter of puppies from 3 days old and we were told that the mother licks them after feeding time not only to clean them but to stimulate the urge to go we had to use warm washcloths on them after feeding cause they said if they didnt' it could make them really sick from not going. just a natural thing I guess. |
:D I was laughing so hard. Because I know exactly what you are talking about... the look. I've heard that these guys are known for taking revenge. Trixie has never done it after a bath, but there have been other times. I now recognize 'the I'll get you look' and take her out right away! |
