Wow. It hardly seems…legal. But I guess everything on ebay had to be bought from somewhere. I’m glad Lola’s Mom gave us the heads-up or else I’d probably be one of those crazy bidders.

Glad i found this thread... so many sellers on e-bay seem untrustworthy so i'm glad i got the heads up on it. Since others have seen her questionalbe "designer" dress does anyone know where this puppy stilletto may have originated from? I think it's adorable but don't want to deal witha dishonest seller.

What a rip! I looked at most of her items for sale and alot are from Target at much cheaper prices. RIDICULOUS!!! She should be ashamed of herself... that's just wrong.

I really feel like crap after seeing that. There is a target nearby selling the same dress in purple, pink, and blue. I just bought one for my Brandy and she's so cute. If you guys want me to send it to you for $10 let me know the dog's size and color and I will go look for you. My neighbor works there so I can even see if I can get her to buy it for a discount for you guys, but no guarantee on that. I can set up a buy it now auction on ebay for and ship it priority.
I really hate to see anyone get mislead :thumbdown I sell a lot of things on ebay and stuff like this gives it a bad name.

I sent her an email saying "If I would've known these $9.99 TARGET dresses were selling for this price on Ebay I would've bought a whole bunch myself."

She has her auctions starting off at $24.99 and the BIN is $32.00 for that Dress :eek: I feel like sending an email to all the bidders like that is a $9.99 dress from TARGETS because I have one!!

Oh, I already did that sweetie! I think it's totally misleading and scamming people saying that it is from her collection. I make a little bit of money on ebay selling used books and some toys. People like her give Ebayers a bad name!

i emailed her too, saying shame on you, so i guess she is being flooded with emails. i actually tried to email the people bidding, but it wouldn't let me.

I was able to email them. But she is the only lady on there ebaying those dresses. She needs some honest competition that don't lie to make a profit. I buy stuff from wal-mart to put on ebay also, but I don't lie and say that it's special or part of my collection.

I figure everyone of those people that have Ebay Store/Powersellers has to get their goods from somewhere. I'm sure people buy wholesale from Petedge for example & sell stuff up there also. I don't see anything wrong with it. If he/she has a supply and there's a demand of people wanting to buy it I don't see anything wrong with it.

Lots of people resell on ebay. But she shouldn't lie and say that it is part of her "new collection" when it's not designed by her. She is deliberately misleading people with that line.

So are we're upset that she said it was from "her collection", not because she's reselling goods right? It's a sales pitch. It sounds fancy if you say its from "your collection". Would it be better if she/he said it's from her recent aquisition? When I was 7yrs old I used to buy & collect stickers in a sticker album. It was really big back when I was younger. So if I decided to resell my $0.25 stickers on ebay for $30 a sticker would it be ok to say it's from my collection?

When you buy stuff from Walmart & resell on ebay do you say that you got ABC item from Walmart for $5 and tell everyone on ebay you're now gonna sell it to them for twice as much?

I'm not trying to rattle cages. But I really don't see the big deal. That's just my opinion on the matter.

I completly agree with everyone on here. Even if she didn't say where it was from it wouln't be a big deal, the fact that right in her header she calles it Couture Juicy is just praying on people who will think they are actually getting an AMAZING price for a legitimate designer brand name. I think it's fine that she re-sales, it's just the way she does it i don't agree with... but then i don't have to buy from her so that's my perogative... She does have an adorable pup though

Ok it's one thing to start your bidding off at the price you actually bought it for but to start it off at $14 more than what you paid for and $22 more to just buy it straight up is just wrong. I'm sure this dress is not even a $32 quality dress.

Exactly. It's not like a stamp collection because she is implying that it is a part of a designer collection. It looks like she has played the designer game before. She got some neg feedback from someone from selling a fake coach, then she sends them negative feedback.
I am glad that I was warned about this dishonest ebayer!

It is all supply and demand isnt it? She has the supply and someone is demanding it.
Target actually cares a few of the dog items last summer and spring in the Couture Juicy line. They were really cute and flew off the shelfs in the smaller size. I would show them to my husband as his eyes rolled with an OMG look. I am betting that this person actually saw how fast they were selling and the demand and bought them UP. So is it wrong to call it a designer item well no not if it is a off brand and has the tag on it with the name even if it is from target or walmart.hehe

As for a forum, yes Ebay has several message board to chat with sellers and buyers about this kind of thing. You have to admit Target has some pretty cute items there for our little pooches.

Just received a reply from the seller to my email

I own a small boutique and purchase my items from a supplier, not a store. If you can find them for less, go for it. I do not buy in large bulk quantities like retail stores do...my boutique is small and I am very selective.
The quality of my items are top-rate.

Shame on me??? For what???

My response - these items are tagged made for and distributed by Target, all rights reserved. Shame on you, for what? Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

You are right! And that chick is a BAD liar. I bought one and the inside sewn in tag says "boots and Barkley" 2006 Target Brands Inc. Her supplier is Target, plain and simple.
