sorry to hear that :( Hugs |
So sorry to hear that. Please get a second opinion if you plan to proceed. Not trying to upset anyone here.... and not all vets.... but sometimes they put our babies through unneccesary procedures. I use to be at my vet\'s mercy for he knew I would do anything for my babies.... but I\'m a lot wiser now and we still need them but make sure you know about the condition. Stay eduacated! |
Jasmine has LP in one of her back knees, or at least has the potential to have it. The vet said it might not ever bother her and so far it hasn\'t. Because of this I have looked up everything I can possible find on it. I saw a web site once, that was from a lady that had raised and showed champions for year. She had passed on but because it was such a great site and she was such a great advocate an expert on yorkies, others had kept the site going. This lady said she had Yorkies over the years who had LP but she never let anyone do surgery on them. She said there was other ways to control it. She recommended steroid shots and keeping the dog confined until the inflammation went away. I will try to find the site and let you read the whole article. Lana |
I\'m so sorry to hear of all of your guys with LP. It does seem sometimes that sometimes everything happens at once. But in the big plan, it all works out in the end. Jus hang in there. It just a test of your faith and strength. |
