I'm so sorry Miss Mini has to go through surgery for her little knees :( It sometimes seems that life piles on much more than we can handle, but in my experience, things do find a way to work out. I pray that things turn around for you soon. I'm so sorry to hear that you have been ill...are you doing better health-wise? I hope so. Take care and we are all here for you when you need support. Things do find a way of working out, so don't lose hope. |
I am so sorry to hear about Mis Mini...we have been dealing with the same thing with Magic this week!! Her right leg flared up this week and she is now on some meds but if they don't help she will have to have surgery!! We will keep Mini in our thoughts and prayers and hope that she gets better!! |
I am sorry to hear that news! I will be keeping you in my prayers! |
I am so sorry to hear. Cali has it in both legs but the vet didn't mention anything about surgery so hopefully it's mild. Keep us posted and I hope things work out for you and your boyfriend. |

I feel so bad to hear about Miss Mini's diagnosis. Maddie and I send kisses and get well wishes! I'm sure she'll do fine after the surgeries, but it is such a worry to see your little one go through anything like that. Poor baby. |
Oh Mini :( Simon has LP in both knees too but the vet said he wouldn't need surgery for awhile. Will Mini need it soon? Poor Baby! Simon and Hallie send sweet Mini lots of love and kisses. Aunt Kim does too!!! |
Poor miss mini Sending hugs her way ((((((())))))) |
baby03 mommy I am sorry to hear about Mini. Know how you feel. I took Baby to her yearly check up and was told she had that too. She doesn't need surgery now, but was told it would be better if I did do it. I am taking her to a specialist for a second opinion. Hope all works well for you. I am terrified about putting my little one through surgery |
Oh Deb SisterFriend!! I am so sorry to hear that our Mini girl has LP!! :( Oh dear  oh dear!! Is it a given that she MUST have surgery? I suppose if it will lessen the pain for her, then it is for the best. Poor little sweet baby! :( I wish I was there for you, honey, to hug you and get you to smile. I am so sorry. Hugs and puppy kisses to little Mini. Tell her Aunti Glad loves her much! :hearts-xx Please keep us in touch with the surgery date/time. Chin up, my friend. You are doing a great thing to help your sweet baby like this. :aimeeyork |
Oh boy! Two people not working and one little Yorkie that needs surgery. Not a fun scenario - right! I wish I had an answer for you. Keep in touch and let us know what you decide to do and how things work out. Carol Jean |
sorry to hear that :( Hugs |
So sorry to hear that. Please get a second opinion if you plan to proceed. Not trying to upset anyone here.... and not all vets.... but sometimes they put our babies through unneccesary procedures. I use to be at my vet's mercy for he knew I would do anything for my babies.... but I'm a lot wiser now and we still need them but make sure you know about the condition. Stay eduacated! |
Jasmine has LP in one of her back knees, or at least has the potential to have it. The vet said it might not ever bother her and so far it hasn't. Because of this I have looked up everything I can possible find on it. I saw a web site once, that was from a lady that had raised and showed champions for year. She had passed on but because it was such a great site and she was such a great advocate an expert on yorkies, others had kept the site going. This lady said she had Yorkies over the years who had LP but she never let anyone do surgery on them. She said there was other ways to control it. She recommended steroid shots and keeping the dog confined until the inflammation went away. I will try to find the site and let you read the whole article. Lana |
I'm so sorry to hear of all of your guys with LP. It does seem sometimes that sometimes everything happens at once. But in the big plan, it all works out in the end. Jus hang in there. It just a test of your faith and strength. |
