Why is your baby so weird??

Let's all name some silly, funny, weird things that our yorkies like to do that we either get really mad at, or just laugh at.

Coco likes to nudge your hand as she lays on your lap, to pet her. So she will keep digging her head under your hand until your hand ends up on her head.

She also likes her daddy to cover her eyes to shield the light so she will drag his hand over her eyes.

She rubs her head on the floor until she looks like Donald Trump.

She pees and poops in a handstand if the grass is wet.

She likes to take her food out of her bowl sometimes, arrange it then go backwards and eat them one by one.

My Yuri stands on his head when he gets really excited! He does backflips too. He hasn't quite figured out that he can't run through our sliding glass door and has had many run ins with the glass.

My beagle snorts and grunts like a pig. Seriously. That's not an exaggeration!

Remmy is weird because
He is the fearless protector of our backyard. Watch out cats, ducks, geese, lizard or frog Remmy will get you. He will charge out the backdoor and run fast as lightning to get the inturder. But he is the sweetest boy and will lay his little head on my shoulder for some love. Big lap baby. he also does not like to poo in front of anyone and goes to the far corner of the yard to do his business.
But he eats goose poo and I HATE THAT

Chance is weird because
He is the fearful protector...he barks at everything and runs away. If you try to take a toy from him he either sits on it or tries to hide it. He is a nut because he steals Remmy's food out of his kennel. If Remmy ever catches him he better run fast. Full of mischief. He is defianately not a lap boy.

But he eats GOOSE POO TOO AND I HATE THAT

Oh I almost forgot this one, everytime I open the sliding glass door, Coco is sure to run into the screen door before I open it..lol

Rebel is a strange one. He will literally talk to you. You say something and he makes this funny noise in his throat like he's trying to form words. Also, he'll get on your lap, fall flat on his back (laying against the crook of your arm) and then put both paws on your face. You move his paws, he puts them right back on your face. It's a vicious cycle. Paws on, paws off, paws on, paws off.

Gracie, after a bath, will not only run through the house like she's in the Indy 500, but she will then rub just her butt on the corners of the couch. Walk up one side of the couch rubbing her body along the way, rub her butt on the corners, then walk down and rub the other side. What a character!

We deal with that too, at our house. You think they would remember!

Here are things I can't do cause he flips out,, growling, barking, attacking...
Sweeper,or as soon as I get a broom out, cleaning windows,, attacks the paper towles, or is on the other side of the widow smearing up the side I just cleaned. I can't rake or move anything across the ground, he attacks it.. Can't use the lint brush on anything.. Can't get the feather duster out of the closet, He HATES that thing.... Oh I could go on forever...

Funny, Bailey has some weird traits in common with many of your Yorkies. Bailey too will not wait for the screen door to open and will run right through it, we have replaced 2 screens already. Bailey will grab one piece of kibble at a time and go under the table and eat it and then go back for another.

When I vaccum, Bailey will growl, bark and paw at the vaccum cleaner. It is hysterical. It is the only time he barks, EVER!!! When I am going potty, Bailey has to come in with me and sit on my lap. If I close the door and leave him out of the bathroom he will dig and claw at the door until I let him in. When I get up to pull up my pants or whatnot, he stands up next to the toilet to approve of my duty and then I flush. It is so funny!!

Tucker is just a little bag full of weird! He barks at anything that makes noise: my son's remote control car, the sweater shaver, Megan's yo-yo, a piece of paper.....
He does not let me read the newspaper. If I'm sitting reading it he jumps on me and walks all over the paper. A book or magazine is fine, but not the paper.
He sticks his tongue in my mouth every time I try to get a kiss. (had a boyfriend like that once!)
He will only eat if someone is watching him.
He can hear food being opened from anywhere in the house. If you drop something on the floor and he is 2 rooms away, he comes flying in and picks it up before you can bend over and get it.
He chews on Rusty's ears. And tail. And paws. And belly.
He HATES belly rubs, unless he is asleep, then once I start he rolls right over for it.
He can lick you to death! He will take my hand in his two paws and lick it like an ice cream cone. I always try to wait him out and see how long he would do it, he NEVER gives up, it's always me first.
He is the only dog I have ever seen play fetch with himself. He gets a toy in his mouth, flings it, runs and gets it and starts all over.
He gets absolutly STONED when he eats snausages.
I could go on and on.....it's the weirdness that we love about him.

Ramsey is a truck driver stuck in a girl yorkie body She regularly burps...really loud ones (I know a lady...use that term lightly....that belches really loud...when Ramsey does it...I just ask "feel better, Carol ? )....any way, I digress. She snores like a freight train. Any outfit...she will grab the hem and try to pull it over her head Topknots with cutesy bows...outta here in 10 minutes flat. No fussy mussy priss here.

Hubby snores too...now if, by chance, I am awake, and he starts snoring....Ramsey will go up and kiss him. I'm not sure if she thinks he's growling or what. He also receives kisses good night from her...I do not. We all get into bed, she goes up to him, gives him a couple of smooches and lays down. Apparently you have ta keep those daddies happy.

She is also a fearful protector, however, if you are in a prone position...this means she is barking while sitting ON your head

Has learned the best way to enjoy goose poop delicacies is to eat 'em really fast....cause mom's gonna make ya spit 'em out.

OMG Coco does this too. She gets something, anything and flings it up in the air or across the room and runs to get it. It's like their ploy to make us feel sorry for them because they are playing alone.

**Maddy has this thing that if you are laying down she wants you to hold her, so she squirms all the way until she reaches your arm then nudges herself inside your arm & chest.... turns her body and looks up at you like," hi mommy/daddy whatcha doing?"....


**Gizmo loves to spot pee... he will go and pee on every single tree the moment we get to my moms then run to the door and look at you like,"C'mon slow pokes..let's go inside...whatcha waiting for...(geez..I wonder about that oneLOL)..."

Kammie loves baths that aren't her own. Anytime any of us get in the tub or shower, in jumps Kammie!

Also when she is on my lap at the computer typing, she either tries to type with me or bites at my fingers.

And lets not even talk about the sorts of things she eats!!!!

My Cooper always has to be sitting on someone if they are sitting. He always gets right up on my chest to sleep, right under my neck. He lays his head on my shoulder. I feel like I am wearing a scarf, LOL.
He loves, loves, loves my husbands cell phone. He knows he carries it in his pocket and when Tony sits down, Cooper is there digging it out. If it is accidently left on the coffee table, Cooper somehow knows and he will always get it. It is now looking a little worse for wear
The other thing I think is a little weird is Tony and Cooper's nightly ritual....We all get into bed and Tony keeps bottled water and a little bowl there for Cooper to get his nightly drink, I think it is more weird on my husband's part than Cooper's though
Cooper will also only eat if someone is watching him and he also takes it out of the bowl to eat. He also will NOT NOT NOT share anything. If you pick up one of his toys, he will come take it away from you even if HE doesn't want it. He knows it is his and no one else is allowed to touch them. He also loves to play with a ball of yarn like a cat.

this thread brightened my day BIG TIME!! these little nerds anticsa are just oooo cute!! siri is also part of the wierd yorkies club
**he is a panty thief. he knows which drawer my panty drawer is now and sits anxiously in hopes i will drop them. he jumps into the dirty clothes hamper, and the clean laundry hamper in search of undies and socks to hoard in his crate and act liek nothing happened.
**He also does that wierd food routine with takin it out of his bowl and eating it off the ground which is soo weird to me.
**at around midnight almost every night since ive had him, he does these laps back and forth in my bedroom running like a mad man- so much so, that im starting to think my room is haunted because now he has started barking at absolutely nothing and doing his laps... hes so odd.
**he HATES when i am on the phone- i dont know if he can hear the other voice, but its usually when im on the phone with my ex. he has a coniption as if to say MOMMY OFF THE PHONE!! its the funniest thing.
**he HATES classical music. he barks until i change the station. but he LOVES kelly clarkson lol...i think he knows she has a yorkie :]
