These Yorkies are so trainable. You can train them to not bark. Someone mentioned the dog barking because he wanted to be picked up. I would make him "Sit" before I picked him up. They say to not give them anything for "free". Make them work for it. They need a job to do and that's part of the training also. Good luck. |
Oscar only barks when he wants to go outside and when he sees buggers...ie., horses, cows, any large animal and only riding in the truck will he bark at them as they go by the window! His is so funny...I think he is just saying to us "Did you see that?" |
Dezi is four months and she does not bark a lot. If someone is at the door, she will not bark. The only times I have heard her bark is if another dog barks at her or she is playing with a frisbee and it goes underneath the couch and she is unable to get it. She stares at the couch and barks at it. My sister has two yorkies and one othem is a barker. :animal-pa |
Well if Rosi barks then there is a good reason (exeption a Horse or Cat) and she communicates by growling when she wants something ! |
