Donating YT 30K Club Member | Is it possible that Cali has a stitch coming through her healed incision? She had abdominal surgery a month ago and it was a very long incision and now up in her chest area where the incision was kind of thick is a black sharp thing sticking out. It is not a scab. Do they use internal stitches as well as the outside ones. I had those removed 3 weeks ago. I am going to take her to the ER clinic where she had the surgery, to check it out but was wondering?

| Hi Patty, Long time, no talk. I started my new job & it takes all of my time. Anyway, I read your post & wanted to answer your question. When Isabella had her surgery, the same thing happened. I thought they felt like little bee bee pellets or something. Anyway, I took her to the vet & it was her interior incision from the surgery. They have now gone away. But I would still check with the Vet to double make sure. I hope you have a wonderful Easter. Give the furbabies a hug from us.

| It really does sound like a stitch. Maybe the skin had started growing over top of it. I'd take her too. And DON'T let them charge you a thing! You already paid for it. You don't want it getting infected or have tissue build up around it causing a lump. Please update and let us know what you find out. |
