What other breeds do you like? What other breeds do you like besides yorkies? We all know yorkies will always be number 1 :aimeeyork , but what other breeds do you like? I like malteses a lot and i love pomeranians(sp). i like labs too, but my mom doesn't like big dogs too much. |
Yes, we all know that :yorkiesar :) . Maltese and Shih-tzu would be second and third on my list. I love the temperament of Greyhounds; but, I'd rather have a small companion dog. |
I like my little poodle.He thinks he is people too. I like almost every breed there is, but I just think there is nothing like a Yorkie in all the world. |
I like the Maltese, Poodle, and the Westies. Hopefully soon enough I will be getting a westie. :p |

my brother's bichon is very smart and calm and a wonderful companion around the house! (I just wish he got along with my baby!!!! ah!) :) IWe had another bichon in the past and he was a terror! haha so I guess it depends. I haven't had any other breeds... |

A Yorkie is not my favorite breed...... I have my Yorkie, a Bichon, and had a little mixed Poodle/pom that I had to put to sleep last October. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite among these dogs. They have all been wonderful, loving pets. And - I equally love any number of other breeds - but, of course, we can only have so many dogs - right? I certainly do think my little Yorkie is a wonderful little dog. He is just as cute and loveable as a dog can be. And, I would be the first one to recommend a little Yorkie to almost anyone. I'm not young, and I have had the opportunity to have many different wonderful breeds as well as many mixed mixed breeds during my lifetime. I honestly still remember very well the dogs I had as a child and still think of them often and still miss them. Carol Jean |
I've always liked Westies, they seem to have all those terrier traits that we love :animal36 And they're beautiful too. Yup, I'd definitely get a Westie if I were going to add another pup to the family. |

Felix has a big sister Babs who is a Jack Russell Terrier. Before Babs we had a Cairn Terrier. I love the fiesty ones. :D |
oh no, im not getting a big dog! im still waiting on my yorkie! i like big breeds but could never have one, i like small dogs that you can snuggle up and sleep with. |

can one have 4 fav's... besides Tootie, I have the most intelligent Yellow Lab ever born... she is so human like. A Boston Terrier and chi/spitz mix... I love them all the same! |

When we were looking into what breed would be best for us, we thought about the Shi tzu, maltese and the Boston terrier! And I love the boston terriers!!!!!! I think I may have one, one day!!! I love their cute little faces!!!! My friends Boston is the sweetest thing!!! But of course! Yorkies are the Best! And Biewers too!!!!!!!!!!! |
I like bearnese mountain dogs and english bulldogs. My first dogs were lab/chow mixes and they were the best dog ever. :) |
I considered a maltese but didn't want to deal with fur that matts easily and tear stains. They are really cute though. Soft coated wheaten terriers are pretty cool. In the past I only had big dogs (labs, goldens) but once you go tiny it's hard to go back. I just really love having dogs that I can sleep with and take practically anywhere, and it's hard to beat poop that you can pick up with a tissue. |
We used to have American Bulldogs and may be getting another one (outside) pretty soon! They are wonderful dogs but just too big and messy for the house. I also love boston terriers and chihuahuas and would love to have a bussels griffon in the future. They are so neat!!! |
I grew up with Black Labs(great duck and deer hunting dogs). So Naturally I love them. However they are not my favorite. My parents have a aussie/border collie mix(brillant mix, very beautiful and full of life) They're adorable. They, also, had a sheltie. Too cute for words. I like rotties(great therapy dogs), pembroke welsh corgies(cute stubby legs), pits (love their big heads and hate that they get such horrid reps), newfies(so gentle and loving), great pyrenise(so large and cute), shih tzu's (so cute), schnauzers(any size, they're just adorable.) and last but not least I like chi's. oh and papillions. But my absolute favorite? PUGS. I'm crazy about them. I love their snorting, their faces, their bug eyes, their stout bodys, and their wrinkles. OH and I love their coloring. a Yorkie comes in a close second. Oh yes and I forgot I love bulldogs |
