Any new updates on Tasha? Hope she is still improving. |
She is still doing great. She was just sitting on my lap til i started typing lol..now she's being a couch tater. So far I haven't noticed any signs of damage..so hopefully there isn't any. I wanted to say thank you for all of your prayers and kind words. I know that is what saved my baby. |
I talked to the vet today and she wants to keep her on the seizure med for a few more days. She sees the vet this thursday so hopefully she will be able to be taken off of them. Her puppies also go to get their shots and get started on interceptor. So thursday will be a big day.. |
Just caught your post....I'm praying for your baby... |
so glad everything is going better....will continue to say prayers.... |
had to check in on Tasha, glad she's doing well! |
She is doing great. She's weaning her pups. The vet didn't want me to pull them and her turn around and get mastitis so thankfully tasha is weaning them on her own. She is back to her normal self so I'm thankful for that. She goes to the vet tomorrow so hopefully she gets a clean bill of health. |

Somehow I missed this post! I am so glad that Tasha is doing better! |
So glad Tasha is doing so well. All dogs should be as lucky to have found a vet like yours! |
Am very grateful that Tasha has made a full recovery. I have had 2 instances where my baby has scared me to death. First she ate a grape. She began to get lethargic and vomit. I took her to the emergency vet hospital. After having an iv and fluid injections and 2 bloodworks run on her she was allowed to go home. She got over that. Then on thanksgiving 2005 she got up to go outside. I always go with her if she's not going with her poodle sisters. I was outside with her when I heard her squeal. Like she was in pain. I went to her but she kept shaking her head side to side and she looked like she was chewing sideways. I called her name, but got no reaction. I panicked and tried to pick her up. At that point she ran to the back door to go in. I let her in and she went to her teepee. I picked her up and there was froth on her mouth. Took her in. No fever, but they never figured out why she had a seizure. TERRIFYING for me. Thank God she hasn't had it again. I am so glad that Tasha is now okay. Her continued recovery will be in my prayers. pauline |
