Thank you! Yes, bred from 2 standard AKC Yorkies. I own the female (or should I say she owns me ;) ). My Mom has 3 females (one is the sister to mine). She and I both pay to use the same little stud. I called her last Memorial Day to tell her what happened in my litter and she said she was glad it was me because she would have had a heart attack and died. I had Tiah in my bedroom with low lighting and when I saw an odd color I was like "WHAT?!!!!?" Well, she started bearing down again and .... out came ANOTHER one! I went straight to the computer and found that it is a rare occurence do to a recessive gene (I believe my female is the carrier). I then researched the Yorkshire Terrier "ingredients" and found an exact match for their coloring.....the mustard colored Dandie Dinmont Terrier (one of 6 different breeds known in the make-up of the Yorkie). sorry if this was too much info :) .

Thanks so much for your more than wonderful comments everyone! So good to be back with the YT fam again! :thumbup: :thumbup: Sherry Lynn, you never fail to make me laugh! Lily is all black

Lola and Lily are yorkie poodle mixes. Lola is brown and black and Lily is almost all black. She has a wee tuft of white on her chest. Lily is so dark, that when we take pictures of her, the light will not reflect off her. Most of the time we only get pictures of glowing eyes.

they look adorable! I wish the picture would come up bigger when you click it. The one definetly took on the Yorkie features.

Wow I never knew about the red ones either but they are gorgeous!! I love the puppy pictures. :D

Wow!! Those are some very beautiful yorkies!! I especially liked the light colored all red one. I've never seen one like that before.

Thank you very much! The lighter one is my female....Mercedes. She is more blonde with red low-lights. Mavrick (male) is red with blonde hightlights. The are the exact opposite of eachother. However, at times they look exactly alike.
