Solid colored yorkies
 
Just curious.......Does anyone have a solid colored yorkie,such as...all silverblue, all black,all brown,all red? If so, I would love to see pics! :)

Me neither but I do have a lot of odd balls running around. Chocs, partis, Biewers and a supposed-to-be BIRO..and one standard color Yorkie..

I have 2 red ones....almost solid....just some white markings. Born in a litter of mine along with 2 standards.....here are some pics...you can also check out some in the photo gallery.

Those two are amazing! What beautiful Yorkies. I think that's the first I've seen of red Yorkies; they look so silky!

Thank you Rhapsody and Jeanie! I just love them! Mavrick is the male (white blaze on head) and Mercedes is my female. I am going to get some updated pictures of them on here soon. They came as a TOTAL SURPRISE to me!!!! I am trhilled with them!

THey make me almost want to cry- they are so adorable. I want a little one just like that. I dunno- lol estrogen running high I guess they are just adorable and making me so lovesick. I just want to love one of those babies. Congrats- they are BEAUTIFUL!

Thank you! Yes, bred from 2 standard AKC Yorkies. I own the female (or should I say she owns me ;) ). My Mom has 3 females (one is the sister to mine). She and I both pay to use the same little stud. I called her last Memorial Day to tell her what happened in my litter and she said she was glad it was me because she would have had a heart attack and died. I had Tiah in my bedroom with low lighting and when I saw an odd color I was like "WHAT?!!!!?" Well, she started bearing down again and .... out came ANOTHER one! I went straight to the computer and found that it is a rare occurence do to a recessive gene (I believe my female is the carrier). I then researched the Yorkshire Terrier "ingredients" and found an exact match for their coloring.....the mustard colored Dandie Dinmont Terrier (one of 6 different breeds known in the make-up of the Yorkie). sorry if this was too much info :) .

Lola and Lily are yorkie poodle mixes. Lola is brown and black and Lily is almost all black. She has a wee tuft of white on her chest. Lily is so dark, that when we take pictures of her, the light will not reflect off her. Most of the time we only get pictures of glowing eyes.

Wow!! Those are some very beautiful yorkies!! I especially liked the light colored all red one. I've never seen one like that before.

Thank you very much! The lighter one is my female....Mercedes. She is more blonde with red low-lights. Mavrick (male) is red with blonde hightlights. The are the exact opposite of eachother. However, at times they look exactly alike.
